    These were the words of Emma Watson in her speech on "He for She" campaign in 2014.
    6 years later Iam using her words to write a self composed inspirational piece here and Iam so proud of it and lucky that I have Mirakee to express myself.


    It might be a little harsh but isn't the truth of our lives is? This one's a tribute to all the ladies out there for whom each day is a small battle that they have to win in order to survive.

    All your life, you have to do as said
    Do as they please , no need to use ur head
    Doing their bidding might get some praise
    But God never planned this way for you to be raised
    Is it enough for you to be praised for being someone you are not
    Ever wondered to show them exactly what you got ?
    I think it's time you embraced your true self
    Don't be a dead soul like an old book on the shelf
    Iam sure every woman out there would ask you then

    Roses don't come without the thorns, it's true
    But don't you think it's time for changes in point of view
    We're aware flowing downstream is the wise thing to do
    But till when will you let the flow to guide you
    When will you find the strength to fight your way upstream
    When will you learn to swim, fulfill all your dreams
    I am sure every woman out there would ask you then

    A lady with an opinion, never appreciated in the society
    It's a misogynistic world where traditions conceal patriarchy
    And a women's sacrifices
    Always confused as her duty
    A housewife not paid for working all day, just ordered
    For a working woman , no support at work
    At home, her family is least bothered
    Don't you think it's time for a woman to deserve a break
    Already been centuries, how long will it actually take
    Iam sure every woman out there would ask you then
    If not you, who ?
    If not now, when?




    You have suffered all your life
    As someone's daughter and now someone's wife
    What would you teach the generations to be
    Tomorrow they'll learn , what today they'll see
    You wanna see them walk the same burning path ?
    Get their dreams torned away, facing society's wrath
    What future will you give them
    When you couldn't set yourself free
    How will they ever learn to be brave
    To be whoever they want to be
    Do something today and change the future
    Don't ruin their lives or let them rupture
    Now's not the time to be tired and give up
    Best time actually for your game to step up
    Iam sure your future self would ask you then
    If not you, who ?
    If not now, when?

    You know it happens sometimes. Some people just grow out of love and it's ok. You should let them go. Let them be happy doing their thing and you be happy doing yours. Sometimes to love someone is not to hold them back but to allow them to leave for their happiness and eventually it's good for us too as it creates space for someone worthwhile to come into our lives. Someone who will not stay with us forcefully but with his own choice. Someone who would recognize the gem of a person that you are which no one else did. Someone who will be your forever and after.

    So if someone leaves you instead of thinking why and doubting yourself, get back up, dress up, put on your best foot forward for meeting someone new. And no matter if the next one also turns into a disappointment. All these failures will be your stepping stones and will eventually lead you to eternal love one day. Stay hopeful, stay blessed and stay happy, cos life's too short to be anything else. ����❤
