Desperate times,
Produce treacherous minds,
To dream up ideas,
To keep the whole world in fear,
It's easy then, to control,
All countries whole,
For your own, selfish means,
Their lives rip at the seams,
But, why should you care?
There's nothing to compare,
With power and corruption,
Hate with no interruption,
Feed them more lies,
Of how many really have died,
Whilst you do as you wish,
Giving pain, and stealing bliss.

it coats my feet with water as ageless

birch branches of space,
the rhythmic dance of the waves
speaks directly to my soul,
and my worries leave me,
like they are leaves and I, a
deciduous tree, they
mingle with the
sand of the beach, that lives,
only to be washed away by the
Sea.
