सुबह ६ बज कर १२ मिनट की यह तस्वीर
जब सूरज भी तिमिर को चीरते हुए
एक नई उमंग के साथ छा जाता है
कही गाड़िओ की सफाई
को मन की सफाई से ज्यादा
अहमियत दी जाती है तो कही
फ़ोन के आविष्कार ने सुबह
की वह गहरी नींद तोड़ डालने
में सफलता दी है
कॉलोनी का दरवाज़ा तो सुबह
होते ही खुल जाता है
लेकिन दिलो के दरवाज़े खुलने
में अभी थोड़ा वक़्त है
पक्षियों की चहचहाट
मन की उधेड़बुन को शांत
तो नहीं कर पाती लेकिन
अपनी और देखने को मजबूर कर देती हैं
चलते चलते फिर याद आ जाता है
कि अभी तो पूरा दिन बाकी है
बहुत से काम अधूरे पड़े है
रुकने से पहले अभी चलना है

बना कर ही तुम दम लेना।
उसे पैसा छापने की मशीन बनाकर
तुम क्रेडिट लेना मत भूलना।
