somewhere, far away from monotony,
a world, beyond the finite-you and the finite-me,
the sky is yellow, clouds green and the trains have wings,
some faster than others but everything's spinning it seems,
birds, books and humans alike,
causing this little one to squeal in delight.
in another land, as is the norm,
he breaks into a dance, not any familiar form,
every other minute, choreographed unique to his abilities,
oblivious to who what where, negating his debilities.
he moves to a rhythm only he can hear
and synchronizes, to no rules does he adhere.
in yet another world, he moves back and forth on his chair,
Exhibiting no signs of despair,
his expression that of radiant peace
his superhero-fingers battling a war that doesnt cease.
Another of these mystical places,
where languages range in frequencies, like phrases
of a musical cacophony traversing up and down the decibel,
uplifting his soul because, even within his shell,
he can communicate, unlike in a land such as ours,
with a guitar, a dog even cars.
there never was a dull moment in any of these worlds,
pure, englightening and magical- they unfurl,
I wish, sometimes, that i could integrate into yours, little one,
while I look for sunshine in the dullness that surrounds.
knowing I must be your sign post so you don't wander,
I want to let you linger just a while longer.
