Pushkar fair- when the village gathered at the bank of the river.

    - Sujal

Today I'll talk about 'Pushkar medava'. This fair comes after every 12 years, held on 12th April (this year), and for 12 days. The reason behind the alliteration of twelve is because, there are 12 Shivlings all over the India and this fair is celebrated in the grace of Lord Shiva.
In this fair usually people do bath in the river to cleanse their inner soul. They believe, Pushkar which usually comes after 12 years, energise the river water and after bathing in it we experience a positive mind and soul. People who knows about it, comes from various places of India. This time Pushkar fair is held in Sironcha, Maharashtra and on this auspicious moment people from different states like MP, AP, Telangana, Gujarat, Rajasthan are visiting here. Government spent 10 crores for the arrangements. Securities like polices, homeguards, rescuers, firefighters, and other guiders were posted here on high alert. Bramhins, gurujis, Aghoris were all over reading mantras. Ministers, Chief minister, MPs, MLAs, journalists were also visiting constantly. This everything marked the importance of this fair.
Today is the 12th day means the last day of Pushkar medava. As every evening does this evening also the whole village was gathered at the bank of the river to join 'ganga aarti' (worship of the river) at 6:00 pm. As the day ended with this beautiful evening, everyone started leaving for their homes with some joy and a bottle of river water.
Thus, the fair ended and hope it's energy would live in our soul for the next 12 years to come.

    Life

Life is a beautifully designed, ugly reality. Never fair to all, every step forward is a chance to new ending. No matter what, we'll lose something and ultimately it will end.

Its about our lives ... Sometimes we all get sick off the hard times ... but as we all know life is unfairly fair and we can't go against its nature .... Whatever is in our fate it will happen no one can change that ....#life #lessons #lifeisunfairlyfair #fair #unfair #situations #experience #originalcontent #freeverse

    Unfairly fair

    Sometimes I get fed up
    Fed up with the problems
    With every hard times
    Sometimes it feels so unfair
    But what to say more
    We all knon that
    ”EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON”
Everything that happens, happens for good
    The situation that we face
Life gives us as we deserve
    But sometimes i feel that
Not hurting anyone, not doing any bad deeds
Why we need to suffer a lot
    In a terrible phase alone
But there's nothing to feel unfair
    Sometimes it's about our lessons
It's for our good quite unfairly
    Life is unfairly fair
    Today you night suffer
But tomorrow will be a brand new day
    Maybe with lots of smiles
    Life will show you everything
From laughing loud to crying hard
But in the end life is unfairly fair

    MIRROR

Each time I look into the mirror.
    I sense something queerer.
    Silence murmuring in my ear.
    Entreating me to hear.
" Hello there , come closer."
Steps headed towards the one, though blur but felt familiar.
With each steps, the details became clear.
    I know her yet unfamiliar.
    "Look at this disgusting-dull figure,
Body as dark as her hair,
In the world demanding things fair,
Fat piece of mass growing wider,
When the trend is to be slim and thinner."
    Insecurities drew the wrinkles bigger.
Reducing my image to a sinner.
"Stop! Stop! Stop!", I pleaded her.
Still the unabating contempts created a furor.
And reflex got triggered to break her.
    Broken pieces shimmer.
    Tears personifying the river.
    The unbiased silvery mirror.
    Reflexes what I deliver.
Choice is mine to be a sinner or a winner.
Sanctifying the need to be one's admirer.
Who must cheerfully work to be a self - lover.

Right or wrong may not matter to you in the end
    if you are happy

But remember to be fair to everyone you met for that smile on your face

Then only you will get 'Happiness' for lifetime and attract good Karma

    fRee wiLLs !!!

    In that wide open crust
    there's all the where
    just those fences
    dividing the humanity,
    loosing all the sanity
    for morality and ethics

    Sheer tyranny of shackles
    superimposing
    the roots of liberalism

    The overhype of
    pseudo realism
    blowing in the air
    dispersing
    those manipulative chips
    within the psyche
    of beingness,
    constraining
    the very inner domain,
    paralyzing
    the voluntary senses
    and
    activating
    those recessive genes
    of involuntary servitude

    This hosting of
    parasitic webs
    often thus
    ignorantly creates
    a self-restraint cage
    impairing
    the conscience
    to enslave
    the fair and free
    wings of will !

    Bang..the basket pounds,
    overwhelmed with candies on top,
filled with every speck from the fair

Take out the candies, to start the ride
Rollercoaster is it? Yes, you're right!
Jhumkas bought with her husband - chain
    bargaining didn't go in vain
for they found their way in

But the Couple had their children rings,
not lately followed by the chicken wings,
No, not the feathers but a coupon begot
when I won the balloon hunting shot

    Shoes, stoles and statues within,
    will decorate me and my house;
Am sorry, we have come to the end of the show
it's not coz my basket is shallow
But my empty pocket popped to say 'Hell-o' !

    The Night

    The night,
like a journey to an unfamiliar land,
if my eyes should die before I awake,
I have my adventurous soul to blame.

In the firmament of light bright experience,
like a normalcy, the loomy sun of night.
a valid premise to work alive.
Curious dolphins may feed and dive.

    Of priceless embryo's undergo.
that you drop value free bass.
Visions and augural assault of fearful ombre,
in the fearless night of dominion.
Melodies of dark peace; don't sleep on it.

A List was made, to the Fair
    To remember, Not to forget
Not in a sheet of paper
But in mind, the things for Her.

    I walked through the aisle
    Seeing various items and gifts
    That would suit my person
But all the urges to buy
    Was somehow drifted away

It was like, a whisper in my ears
To see the life, on both the sides of the aisle
To take a moment, to see the pain

The struggles, the hardships put on
For a one time meal for the day

    I walked on different people
Thinking what will be the greater good for them
    Still not doing a bit

And again like a revelation to my ears
    A whisper, Next Time!

And I was out from that Dream

    A dream it was, Still
I believed she has taught me something

A way and a life to lead
And for its goodness I see myself
And to do the part I can
Am now standing at the doorway
    To the Fair.

    With tokens of my courage...
I went to buy my lost innocence,
    It ran out of stock.
    With coins jingling in pocket...
    I went to buy equality,
    Denied;
With a sour system of giving the least to the people who needed it the most.
I walked with my head held high, I clean my badge of fearlessness, dancing through the crowd...
    Felt hands on my body,
    Badge disappears.
    With whatever left with me,
    I asked for freedom,
Strings attached to my hands and feet...
    The big man...
    Controls.
    Defeated,
    I dance.

    ~| An antique typewriter |~

    My heartbeats halted my motion
    And found a companion
Who stole my heart at very
    First sight in the fair.
    This antique typewriter
    Sings the retro songs
    When my metaphors feel
    Lonely in the night shades
    Every 3 a.m.
An antique typewriter, which types poetry
    When my breaths get chocked,
    And my fingers paralyse
In the whirlpool of modern melancholies.

~| Dried withered rose petals shedding pearls |~

My scarlet gown fell in love
    With those dried withered
    Rose petals, shedding teary pearls
    From a poet's tombstone,
Whose last wish was to see
    His poetry playing the
    Rhyming syllables to heal
    The moon's scar,
When I placed them in my book
I saw blazing rays of sun
    Arising from a tombstone cloud,
    Instantly my heart started
Bleeding ode biding a peaceful goodbye.

    ~| Fossils smelling petrichor |~

As I moved inches ahead, my senses
    Started feeling holy eternity,
    When my fingers glided
    Through constellation of fossils
    Smelling petrichor;
    Fossils mirroring ancient love
    And smelling petrichor even today
    When love rains from heaven,
    Which was once murdered for
    Committing the sin of loving
    Someone truly with whole heart,
When the world was flooding blood
    In the catastrophic world war.

~| A half burnt paper and ashes of sonnet |~

Pious fire still flaming and roaring high
The screams of rhymes and hope
Of a paper not to see her love; sonnet
    Turning into ashes,
Alas, the paper is half burnt,
But the ashes of sonnet are phoenix
    Embracing a true poet.

~| Broken rocks of moon, oozing poetries |~

    My numb canvas of heart
    Finally found an abode of
    Blissful hues when the
    Broken rocks of moon
    Oozed out poetries
    In my moonless life!

// A fair who rained fair treasure of gems
    To my void black life,
    Even blackness started
    Ornamenting colourful shades
To again turn the blank pages
    To poetic spring //

    || A fair who taught me
    That the universe which holds
    All magnificent gems is
    Actually blank and transparent
Like the soul, but what adds
    Colours like a fair
    Is cascade of words
    Fusing to poetries ||

    // Exiting this fair
    After riding through
    Rollercoaster of emotions,
    This sleepless soul slept
    After ages in the melodious
    Lullabies of typewriter //

    Fair

I was invited to be a part of a fair
Which was held on a bright and sunny day
A walk into this fair was a walk
    Into my forgotten childhood days
I carried with me no umbrella like the English do
In order to be able to enjoy the afternoon rain
I got lost in the happy and joyous revelries
And in the crowds found myself again

    So I bought …..
A little box for storing memories
Reams of paper for thoughts to be inked
A rug to make winters cosy
A book of posies to make me think
A coffee table book with glossy pages
An album to store all my pictures
Several pots to house my many plants
Along with a book of bygone scriptures
A piece of handwoven, embroidered cloth
A bunch of chimes to sway in the wind
    An ancient looking ink pot
A mug to down my tea with gold rimmed
A handmade sun dried tomato pizza
A risotto made with local rice and fish
To drink - a nice cool lemonade
And an exotic looking apple pie dish

Admiring the local artefacts I’d bought
After punting in a boat in the nearby lake
The day ended on a high as I came home
And ate a slice of a very delicious cake
Sometimes we lose a part of ourselves
But in surprising places, it we regain
Every little facet that makes us feel lost
Can be eliminated by a walk down the memory lane

    List

    My friend dragged me
    To wear a floral dress
    And we reached our destination
    This fair is soo vibrant
    Colourful
    Everyone buying, bargaining, testing,
    All the items displayed
    But one caught my attention
A Phoenix, I was the highest bidder
Now a Phoenix in my hand
    I moved to another store
    It caught my attention
    Magic potion to relieve
Your best days of your life
    So I bought it.
And then, I spotted a little girl selling
    Rose flowers, I bought all
And gave that to my bestie
    She adores flowers.

    Next the main highlight
    Of the fair
    I saw a dragon
    It took my breath away.
    Everyone wanted a ride
Fighting, crying all kinds of tantrums
    Poor dragon was afraid
    Of the chaos
So I took him and flew away
To a land of no misery.

    This is not equal.
    This is not fair.
I handed you little pieces of my soul
    You told me "Thank you"
but pushed them aside to gather dust as I held you in high regard.

On the pedestal, I kept you for so long
While you never bothered to see me lying on the ground.

Until the moment I walked away.
