Wolves in sheep clothing
green snakes under the green grass
are perfect descriptions of their persons
they came shouting change to us
promising us heaven on earth
sweet-talked us to believe their lies
we fell flat for all their lies
we gave them what they seek
in no time we realised the mistake
we have gotten ourselves into
The evil they criticised became heaven
that we long for day and night
eating has become luxury
like chickens, people die daily
affording basic needs is now a privilege
safety seems to have bid us farewell
no one can sleep with both eyes closed
they have taken us millions of
steps backwards
put us in debt we'll pay through the nose
yet, these callous set want to continue
declared they are the messiah we need
clueless people fooling only themselves
they only want to steal, kill and destroy us
the broom that kills, rather than clean

पर क्यों लगे ५ दिन ?!
केह दे इन सरकारों को माँ ,
तेरा बेटा बहुत रोया बिछड़ कर तेरी बाहों से ।
टूटी हिम्मत आखिर मेरी जब ,
ढह गई मानवता इन सरकारों की ।
