HAPPY DIWALI...
Diwali (or) Deepavali is one of the major religious festival celebrated by Hindus. Diwali festival is also called as "festival of lights". Deepavali (or) Diwali means "a row of lights". It signifies the victory of light over darkness. It is celebrated to declare the victory of good over evil. It is festival which is celebrated for five days. The five festive days of Diwali stars with Dhan teras/ Dhan trayodashi, Naraka chaturdasi, Diwali/Deepavali/Deepavali Amavasya, Govardhan puja & ends with Bhai dooj. Deepavali festival occurs on no moon day or amavasya. Thus, it is also called as Deepavali Amavasya. This Diwali festival is grandly celebrated at the night time only. On this day we worship God Ganesh,Goddess Lakshmi Devi & do Lakshmi pooja. On the occasion of Diwali we decorate our house with lights, flowers,garlands,rangoli & we also prepare various delicious dishes& sweets.We wear new dresses. All the family members gather together & celebrate the Diwali festival by burning fire crackers. Diwali festival helps to improve good relationships between family members & friends. It also helps to increase a good human bondings between people.
