What can a couple of words do
Do they really count for that much
What did it mean when I left my soul bare
And awaited your comforting touch ?
You left me waiting and in a lurch
When you took life away from my bones
I was left with desperate feelings of shame
Where every breath felt like a loan
You could’nt find the words to soothe
To wait and respectfully decline
I was forced to part with what was rightfully mine
You found neither the words, nor the time
My dreams got buried and hopes burnt
When neither you nor your words arrived
How much did I really matter in the end ?
Exactly how real were your decade long lies?
Shame and guilt became a part
Of my sullen gloomy lonely life
Left jilted and left completely unaware
You conveniently left my life in a strife
To stand alone is a great feat
To bear a shame one should've never have borne
I stood alone and bore the shame
Everyday my own death I mourned
You will not be the end of me
You will not be my last fight
If sorrow is to be the death of me
I will defend my right , my life
There no greater wound than one to mourn
The death of one still alive
As I slowly gave up on mourning you
Peace returned to my deathly pale life
The pain you had inflicted for years on end
Slowly cleared like nimbus clouds
The rage and shame I’d felt for so long
Became calm , left with little clout
No man will be the death of me
No, you will not define my life
I am who I was, who I was meant to be
And that's so much more than just being your wife
It takes a real man to stand by one
Who stays when all else leave
I may find another to replace you with
In all eternity, you will never find another me
One quatrain to end each year of us
Here on I will not open this chapter ever
Life flows and fills spaces left by riverbed rocks
And the river goes on forever

Dark sky
Under a cloudy dark sky, he told me with a disappointment in his voice," you know what actually?! you don't love me, to be honest. you're with me just for the sake to forget your past!" his words were as sharp as the sword blade for me. It shattered me into million pieces. My love for him started questioning me that do I even exist? I was lost. Trying to fight with a lot of feelings. "How can it be like I don't love him?" I asked myself. It's just because of the harsh Situation around me from the past nine to ten years I have developed a cold nature. It wasn't like I was changed or I didn't love him. I wanted to tell him that I am feeling the same pain as him. The pain that I gave him but wasn't just hurting him. It was killing me too cause I never wanted to do this to him. I wanted to tell him I care for him, I love him a lot, I have huge respect for him but my inner soul kept torturing me that you don't love him? So Does that mean you're using him for the sake of yourself?! And I knew that wasn't true. I wanted to keep every thought, every feeling of me in front of him. I wanted to tell him I am sorry and I love him but all I did was remain silent.

Heartbroken
जब सच्चे प्यार में दिल टूटता है,
तो वो एक याद बन जाती है,
तन्हाई भरे लम्हो में जो अख़सर रुलाती है,
उस वक़्त खुदा से भी,
ये पूछने को दिल चाहता है,
जब कोई चीज़ टूटनी ही थी,
तो फिर आखिर क्यों तू उसे बनाता है।

You brute man with brute hands.
You took and ravaged my soft tender skin
like slender veal marinating in fine wine.
An exquisite meal.
You moulded my many miles of skin
with the searing pain of a blacksmith's sprue;
your hand the hammer to give me shape
but I was yours to please with my soul.
Your coquetry exculpated you from prying eyes
and I was a word, a line in a poem.
Alone.
Lavished to increase my piquancy and perhaps yours.
I hear the creek of the old slaved steps
and soon I will be denied air by your stench.
I had wished to end this poem,
with some colorful artful display of words
to describe the song in my heart.
But if true art is honest, the ribbon of words shall echo
Hate.
I feel you in me, and the echoes turn to a scream.
You man, you animal;
You man, you animal;
You Man...Animal...
No...Man!

Unwritten letters
Those letters are locked
In the cupboard. Blocked
From my life, behind
The dusty shelves I never touch.
The shelves where I keep
All the flowers I used to weep
For to parch their needs.
I don't look at them now.
I'm stronger than their
Parasite-like howls.
But I remember
Each letter of that letter,
Which sits behind the dust,
Shining in my heart.
Something should must
Strike my head with wit,
For I dry my rivers of ink
For the letters I never
Got or read.
For the letters I never got,
I keep a space in the dusty place,
For I know their presence will just
Show me how I hate them.

SEEKING RELIEF
Come on.
Let it be.
It grows heavy in my chest,

The Night
When the sky is dark
And hopes are dim
There is just a frail rope
For you to cling!
Would you rather break down
Or scream your heart out!
Or like a robot
Carry your tasks day in and out!
The choices are less
And darkness has grown
Will the night be too long?
Or dawn will arrive soon!!
