WHERE I STAND
Hi
My name is Naomi. I'm a Christian, well I was born one.
I live my life counting the days I go to church, I think it's the only way to heaven.
No one told me what Christianity was all about. No one told me it was never about how much I prayed or fasted.
I've lived my life in fear knowing I will rotten in hell. I would weep everyday thinking of my sins because they told me my name would be cancelled from the book of life.
No one showed me the Love of Christ. And you say God is Love!
Do you know there are people in pain because you never reached out.
Do you know there are people who do not know He was wounded for their transgressions.
Look at me, suffering for the sins I never knew was paid for because you never told me.
"I am a Christian" but I don't know what it means. Maybe I never will because no one is out there.
No one to share the Love of God with me.
No one to teach me the name of Jesus.

WHO IS AWAKE?
I am lost, don't know if I'm found.
I carry my cross, it pulls me to the group.
I see people living their life with joy and their bad history is long forgotten.
But here I am trapped with no key to be given.
Should I mimic your lifestyle? I think it will be better.
Mama said rewrite your history, but my history has no mystery.
My life is crumbling. It's difficult to take a step each time i awake. It's difficult to express my emotions, people think it's fake.
