Home
A Home is a happy Home
Father and mother, plays a strongest role
Sister and brother completes a Family
You, Me and Us
Nobody wants to lose
There will be a time
We break into alone
But nobody knows
When will break down
Its upto our understanding thats stand to be own.
Yes we want a break from all
But don't break with all
Remember you are a member
Yes, will break into alone
We break into not shown
We break to hold our tone

जिसमे पूरी दुनिया समाती है
आज भी वो शख्स माँ ही कहलाती है
कोई काम हो ना हो, पर तेरा दिखना हमेशा ज़रूरी
तेरे होने से ही हर ख़ुशी, तेरे न होने से ये ज़िन्दगी अधूरी
जिसने हर धूप से बचाया मुझे, माँ वो परछाई हो तुम
जिसने हर जख़्म भुलाए मेरे, माँ वो दवाई हो तुम
तुझसे ही सीखी मैंने, मान सम्मान और मर्यादा की ज़ुबान है
तेरे ही कदमो मे मेरी जन्नत, और हर तीर्थ स्थान है
नज़रिया बेशक़ हमारा हो, पर सोच तेरी झलकती है
मेरे बात करने के सलीके में, मेरी माँ की सीख दिखती है
जिसने ख्वाब देखना सिखाया मुझे, माँ वो रात हो तुम
जिसने सही गलत पढ़ाया मुझे, माँ वो किताब हो तुम
दुनिया को मुझमें तेरी परछाई
और तुझे अपनी दुनिया नज़र आती है
बिन बोले ही तू मेरी फ़िर
हर ख्वाहिश पूरी कर जाती है
एक शब्द का निबंध हो तुम
खुद में ही माँ अनंत हो तुम
समर्पण का पयार्य और स्वार्थ का विलोम हो तुम
कैसे समझाऊँ तुम्हें, माँ मेरी कितनी अनमोल हो तुम

Birds still asleep

Maroon soil tossing to the ruthless breathes of orphaned tumbleweeds,
Throats not gulping their own tiffins and choked by sunflower seeds,
Torn shirts begin to weep afternoon's sweat when worn,

Summer arrived this year
With a bang and brought with it the lockdown
A month that usually cheers me up
Made my smile turn into a frown
While sweet lichees and ripe mangoes
Flooded the markets downtown
In my books and poesies I was lost
In them my sorrows I drowned
Unable to go out and like all the others
I was stuck inside the confines of my house
From a roaring lion roaming the streets
Reduced to being a petty door mouse
Moping around all day I spent the month
Unwilling to do anything but grouse
Folk around me lost dear ones and
Some even lost their spouse
One would think that May would lift my spirits
As it had done for so many years
Instead I saw death from not so far away
And came to face to face with my fears
How could I help, do something of value
Why life couldn’t simply shift gears ?
Why is life so fickle and indefinite I wondered
Sometimes in words, sometimes in tears
Unable to keep up with the rapid loss
I went from feeling bad to being depressed
All that I had feared for years was losing loved ones
And this brought up fears I had repressed
I wish Covid was a person I could kill
With my bare hands it I would’ve suppressed
And saved so many from heartbreak
And the burden of being alone and hence stressed
The month of uncertainty came and went
I hardly noticed the flowers that grew
Losing close friends and relatives to disease
Left me feeling rather sore and blue
There was no work to be done to distract oneself
The world felt topsy turvy and askew
I was glad to see summer go for the first time ever
So that we could face rainy June anew

It's funny how everyone advice,
Do this do that all the lies,
Some of them are true i agree,
But does it worth if you don't agree,
There is not a nice way to put this up,
This is indeed the bad stuff,
All confusing all correct all lie at the same time,
Still you have to act on something sometime,
It is what it is will help you move on,
But it won't change a thing or more,
It'll pass with time is all i can say,
Listen to everyone but do as you may...

बूंदों को जो तरसे मई, तू बारिश की आस होना,
लूँ परेशां रात काटते इश्क़ में अमलतास होना।
स्याहि-पन्ने रूठे सभी तो कचनार के सूखे पत्तों पर लिखना,
लाल गेरु के शब्दों से पहली फुहार की सौंधी मिठास होना।
छोटी बड़ी ख्वाइशें साँची, जैसे सपने वैसे ढलना,
टूटी छुटी नींद के तकिये में सेमल का कपास होना।
कोयलों से हो धुँआ बस, और बुझा सा हो जुनूं 'शाबी',
फूल से तू उधार लेना शम्मे, बीहड़ में भी पलास होना।
जनवरी में अब कहाँ ये गुल सारे फिर खिलेंगे,
आँखों में तू होना मई बाहर चाहे जमी ओस होना।
