যেন কিছু বলে আমাকে...
তাকায় ওরা আমার দিকে...
চোখ ছলছলিয়ে যায় ওদের...
কি করুন !
রৌদ্র গন্ধ মুছে গিয়ে ঘামের গন্ধ টা
পরের দিন সেই নোংরা কাপড়ে আতর লাগানোর গন্ধ টা;
তোর সেই শীতকালের খরখরে ঠোঁট টা...
উপভোগ করি আমি, প্রাণ খুলে
যেন কিছু বলে ওরা,
আমার কানে কানে...
করুন সুরে !
তো অপূর্ণতা গুলোই যেন ভাললাগায় তোকে
যেন মনেহয় ভরাট করে দিই সব...
যেইটা কে সবাই ত্যাজ্য করে
মনেহয় যেন জড়িয়ে ধরি সেইটাকে
ঠিক যেমন এই শীতের রাতে

Colourless
Once I believed everything was true
Once I believed that, the water was blue
I walked upto the river to see...to see it was grey!
I climbed up the glacier to verify...to verify it was white!
At last I grabbed enough of it to keep with me, to judge, to analyse, to know...only to know that I was wrong all along;
It was colourless!
Once I had believed an angel
sweet enough to melt my heart
Lost beneath the river I was, in the grey water
struggling to breathe;
I wanted to be saved by the angel maybe...
maybe...I recalled the moment but I couldn't
All I could see, the mask fell off
beneath was a demon;
I survived, later to find out that the demon was a monster, just masked to be unnoticed;
Though vulnerable I dug, I dug, I dug to find the truth, I dug to pull off the worn masks...
All I found was a sad soul, a torn paper, a destroyed bud, a restless God!
I couldn't explain to myself,
what had I seen,
for what I had only learnt to be colourless.
Now I fear the world, because maybe there is something else inside it, for who knows what mask the world wears?
I wanted nothing but to make the sad soul happy, glue up the paper, water the plant and love the God!
For I just wanted people to be colourless like me, to tear off their masks and love the God!
