Bracing myself as I approach the edge

Running faster as I spread my wings open wide
Flying high into a new life I believed into reality
This is the moment I get to become
The person I was born to be

Read MoreI've been planting many seeds over and over again throughout the three years since my awakening. Healing through cycles, at times holding onto hope minute by minute. Facing my fears by examining years spent in pain all the while knowing none of it was in vain. Big changes are about to occur in my life. I can feel it. All it took was loving myself into believing I am worthy. The best is yet to be. I've put in the hard work and knowing I deserve every bit of success and abundance is a gift in itself. A warriors heart
You told me to cage half of my heart, a piece of my soul.. my very essence.
It's not who you are, discard this life, embrace the light.
So I let my self go... the only way to sooth that part was knowing that I didn't have the strength for that art.
Look at me now, a half shell of my former self. A broken mind without the will, without the drive that fueled the fire that once burned in my heart.
No strength to battle the pain I absorb, I take it back but are to weak to let it go.
I'm unlocking the cage, setting him free.
I am more important than your image of me.

Everyday is a gift to be alive. Today I truly feel this because I am a survivor. I've lived through darkness, continuous fear and tremendous pain to understand and be grateful that the Sun will surely rise again. Holding onto hope is what keeps me locked into faith. Healing helps me to see that each moment is so precious and temporary. Tonight's word prompt had me reflect upon my heart centered practices. Living with an openness, choosing to share love is a checklist we all need to make sure we do. The most important to-dos is to share love and our light with one another ✨️

White in Blue
Bloody blue moon
you trick the night sky
with your borrowed silhouette
so perfectly round like my pupils,
eye for an eye
We are the siblings
separated by a long lineage
I'm aware of why you're how you're,
that your shape has the smallest surface area to volume ratio
and hence requires the least amount of energy to keep you intact
But I don't resemble you in any way
yet I see you with minimal effort
in your full glory
Have you saved your energy by coiling
just for this extravagant display?
You don't plunge into me and I don't jump to catch you either
Because they say we've gravity between us,
I know how it works,
but do I know what it truly is?

Just look at yourself!

Turning my anger inwards by abusing substances
It was me I hated
Misunderstanding and void of meaning
Playing fast and loose, dangerously wild
Russian roulette with my own soul
My how much things have changed
Coming into my own
Full blossoming of spirit initiated the grandest of awakenings
Listening to my own voice and higher self
Marrying soul's wisdom with intuition
Knowing I'm a survivor at my core
I can never go back or change the past
Remembering the lessons is all that will ever truly last
Insomnia grips me as I meander through my mind, looking at my growth in the wee morning hours. Reflecting upon the journey these last 3 years. Absolutely everything in my life has changed and is different. I'm so grateful to have found myself after a lifetime of feeling lost through trauma and abuse. Healing is a gift. I'm worth it and so are you my friends.

- mzcupcake11 @mariateresa you are most welcome. We had 3 days of riding, probably put close to 600mi on the new2us Harley! Oooh how amazing! Sunday we were fortunate enough to present a good bit of money we raised, to a school for handicap children. We do alot of things for the kids & community! I started sketching out of nowhere 2½yrs ago. I have FB group & I do photo progression of my sketches. Then at the end of October I auction them off. Take the $$ & but winter hats, gloves, scarves for the kids. Made I made over $400. Last year so I was able to get socks too! Those went over fabulously! My club brothers raise $$ for winter coats! So the community definitely have warm kids!
