Searching for the footsteps, to lead me to a path
I feel lost in this huge crowd even when I know the faces
It is hard to convince myself, to move forward with a happy face
When all that I could see was a stormy night
I am filled with mixed emotions, not able to understand when to laugh when to cry
And when I do, I feel like a lifeless soul with fake expressions
I know it is a tough journey, to lead a path you wish to build for yourself
But my endurance is getting dusted as the days pass by
My sight is distorted, my complexion is faded
Nights are sleepless and the quilt and pillows are not enough to put me to sleep.
I just wish to sort everything out, Going back to how I was
Filled With fun, patience, energy, laughter and every other emotion that i could feel
Without distress, without overthinking
And I pray to feel the hot sun and warm winds, soothing rains and the wet soil

I'm like the moon shining in the dark of night.
Theres a lot of hardship in my life and sometimes it feels like the darkness is engulfing me and I'm all alone.
But even in the darkness I manage to see some light at the end of the tunnel, just like the stars in the sky.
I'm like the moon, some people get to see different sides of me.
I'm the one that most miss out on.
And only few people are able to see me for who I am.
Im mysterious, with a story to tell.
Sometimes I fall, hard. And life pushes me down.
I always need a lot of time to recharge, rest and heal.
But no matter how tired or hurt I am, I always get back up.
I'm like the moon, some see me as beautiful and mystical.
But some see me as a nuisance or troublesome.
I'm like the moon, I shine bright but sometimes I hold back and hide who I am when I feel insecure.
I'm not liked by everyone but no matter what I always radiate inner beauty even if I don't always notice it.
The moon is impressionable and has a lot of power. It can have a way of making you feel like you're understood.
I'm like the moon, I continue to shine bright even on the darkest of nights.
