I wrote this as a musing for all the characters we've loved over the many years, who's loss we've had to endure and who's lives we've cherished. We've only got a blip in time to make it all worthwhile. To do something which will ensure we will be remembered, by the ones we love, with fondness.

To take center-stage in life,
And all the ones we love,
Leave the spotlight before their time.
Is the cost of loving them,
Steeped so deep in strife,
As our emotions lay in disarray,
When our heroes must call,
An unceremonious end,
To the immortal roles they play?
We can only hope to commemorate,
The short lived lives of the few great,
When they’ve had their last date,
With a cruel twist of fate.
Perhaps we ought to learn from them,
For in those moments that fleet,
When we have our chance to shine bright,
In the sweltering heat,
Of the golden spotlight,
We must perform to be remembered,
For all those days,
When we won’t be around,
To receive all the praise.
Who knows,
When we’ll have to leave the stage,
For we have but a few heartbeats,
To make it all count.

आंखें तुम्हारी बहुत से "ACT" करती हैं,
कभी किसी से "INTERACT" करती हैं,
कभी किसी को "DISTRACT" करती हैं,
कभी किसी को "ATTRACT" करती है,
आंखें तुम्हारी खुद से तो कम,
लोगों से कई सवाल करती है,
कभी किसी को छुपा देती है,
कभी किसी को भगा देती है,
कभी यह शर्मा जाती हैं,
कभी यह सवाल करती हैं,
तो कभी यह जवाब देती है,
न जाने आंखें तुम्हारी और भी
कितने कमाल करती हैं.....
छुपाती है कभी किसी से तो,
कभी किसी से छुप जाती है,
मिलती है कभी किसी से तो,
कभी किसी से दूर जाती है,
डूबती है कभी किसी में,
तो कभी किसी को डूबा भी जाती है,
आंखें तुम्हारी बहुत से "ACT" करती है......

Read MoreI bought a Bedouin guitar,
old and out of tune.
It was cheap at first glance,
but music that come out are painful,
difficult and she's cost me a lot,
I can see now.
Sometimes I don't know anymore

-my fingers on the strings
and his music coming from nowhere.
Damn, he really screwed me over.
I bought a book from a rabbi,
even though I didn't even want
-and I'm afraid to open it and read.
Some words, as if they were mine,
and as if they were writing about you,

My blood is on the cover of the book,
but my boat is lead by his rowet.
Damn rabbi, he made me a poet.
The nomad sold me shoes,

Then I realized that shoes only go my way.
And so i wander, from city to city,

and I don't know anymore

or I just wander among the crop.
Damn shoes, it will never stop.
I bought love from a thief,
i didn't know she was stolen
and belonged to someone else.
I bonded quickly and naively,
as if she were really mine.
Sometimes she comes to me in a dream,
uninvited, and walks barefoot into the room. Although I want to get her out,
stays until morning and then disappears,
while steals a piece of my heart,
every time, and leave me in the faint,
Damn thieves, they don't take complaint.
