Time
Yellowed and wrinkled,
Memories of long ago-
Etched in the halls of time
Out of reach, for the time to follow.
Yet the words- they spring to life
Dance around the fireplace
And- shake the memories alive.
The crumpled leaves,
Say words our hearts now ache to say-
Call them, who were so dear to us one day.
Now gone, dusty photographs.

MY WARDROBE ALBUM
Opening the doors to an album of memories
Humbly I'll walk you through the attires of my life.
Nine jeans, my sister generously got me over the years, are the only casuals you'll ever see me in.
One Suit, on which I walked down the aisle with the love of my life and
Sweeping her off her feet everytime I wear the yellow shirt and white dhoti.
The one time I dressed up in formals to a casino, my friends still pull my leg about,
Apart from the constant bickering with the sibling over my fashion sense when I wear bright Tees.
Living at the bottom are the cargo pants, which would still fit, like on the day of my school farewell party.
Gosh! But how does the cake stained office wear doesn't let me in, "Quick! Blame the pandemic", my tummy growled.
I stumble upon every memory without struggling on costumery
As I wear the stories that my wardrobe stores for a lifetime.

That I make with her.

Angels over each of these
As the heavens just increase

All gone, and it goes on and on
And when it's done on-ing, it just ons some more
Majestic and lonely, magnetic, raw
Odds, post-something that God's wicked awes
Magic wave fresher than all's, yes y'all's

I thought I had met eyes with the sea

Once upon a time, in space.

His blood poured red
A lamb was slain

He walked out of the tomb.
Like a new baby from the womb!
The news of him spread!
And Satan's strength was torn!
The church of Christ was born!
With people celebrating him worldwide!
In His word is where we must abide!
And our faults we cannot hide!
He paid the ultimate price there on that tree
But he is the one who had resurrected me!
And here we are happily ever after!
