एक दौर ये भी है कि कुछ कहने से पहले सोचता ही कौन है,
एक दौर वो भी था जब प्रेम युक्त गीत पसंद नही था,
एक दौर ये भी है कि बिन अरिजीत सिंह दिन नही कटते,
एक दौर वो भी था जब पढ़ने के लिए बहाने बनाते थे,
एक और ये भी है जब अध्ययन करना ही कौन चाहता है,
एक दौर वो भी था जब जहाँ मर्ज़ी घूमने निकल जाते थे,

आज इंसान के कर्मों की सजा में, इंसान की जगह दिखाई है,
एक ये भी वक़्त ही तो है, फिर गुज़र जाएगा,
न हम पहले सुधरे थे, न शायद अब सुधरेंगे,
ये वक़्त का पहिया है, घूम के फिर वहीं वापस आएगा।।
