Lockdown diaries

An another lockdown. But this time, a year after things are worst than ever. Whole world is suffering because of a deadly virus. Our regular life schedules have changes drastically too. There is no trying of new recipes and posting in your new YouTube channel, Dalgona coffee is no more trending. No cheering up, No crowds, There is no tendency to text your ex again. Nobody is refreshing their heart breaks. We are not in a situation to talk hours to our childhood friend again. We are all depended on the technology for anything and everything. Online classes, online shopping, online food. It's been a year since our home became our school, office, shopping mall and the entire world we see out there. Quarantine no longer sounds like a vacation. Fresh air is now a luxury.

Life in this pandemic is extremely worst. Everything in this atmosphere feels tragic with the presence of a dreadful virus. We are fighting and praying in distance for all our loved ones and for the entire world. Grateful to all the doctors, nurses and medical staffs for giving us this hope to survive. It's really heartbreaking to isolate ourselves from our dear ones when we mentally need them the most. We all are eagerly waiting for this pandemic to be over, to throw away the mask, to hug each other tightly.

The wierd society rules.
We all know that this society is damn wierd. They have their own rules which makes no sense in this world. One such rule is to act matured. Without no proper guidance we are supposed to follow these maturity rituals too.
"Don't cry in public" " Don't touch this" "Don't say that" " Don't do that " Whose is creating all the do's and dont's? Childhood is a beautiful part of one's life. But parents are forcing them to act normal. Aren't they kids? Is this the time to be enjoy? Why is this parents holding them back? .
People are supposed to be what they what or what they wish to be. But what really happens is that parents are imposing their wishes to their children just to please the society. Their son who is interested in wildlife photography is supposed to join IIT. Yes definitely it makes no sense. But compelling them to earn a government job and make settle at a very young age is of primary importance. And whatever the passion their son has is not their concern. Their daughter is supposed to be married and have babies at the age of 25,but she is not allowed to go out of the house after 6p.m.
Society have a prepared set of questions which they keep on asking. " did your son got a job?" " government job or abroad? "
"isn't time to get your daughter married?" "do she have children? " and this cycle goes on repeating. and a lots more nonsense questions.
This is the 21st century but still we need not only our parents permission but also the neigbours, cousin's , relative's , society's and a long list of people's. Even though we can't tolerate all these, there is one thing we need to admit. They are the perfect CCTV and the fastest news channels.
There are many with shattered dreams and unaccomplished passions between us only because they were anxious about the society. Dancer becames a doctor. Musician becames an engineer. and so many reaching no where carrying regrets.
No man was ever and never gonna be perfect to the society. Be what your mind wish for. Achieve your passion. Be who you are!

Everything in this world has its own misconception or there exists something of a myth related to it. Because different people have different perspectives and they see things differently too.. Happiness is one such misconception we have perceived. What for you is your happiness? Buying your own house, owning a Benz car, joining the best college, going abroad, marrying your soul mate, leading a luxurious life. ? definitely they are our happiness. But they are not the only happiness. These are the happiness that society has imposed on us and may or may not be the happiness of an individual. Our life is to explore, love and find our true happiness.
These lockdown days have made me realise many important realities of our life. There were days I got stuck in my past and finally was able to collect myself from those gone days. Giving my key of happiness to somebody was the major mistake I have done. Our key of happiness lies in ourselves only. We are the ones to find and discover them.
Happiness is in the little things, it's in the beauty of this moment that will cherish forever. It's not in the future nor in the past. A text message from your childhood friend, drinking a hot cup of tea in the rain, seeing your little brother smiling, a small act of kindness is the real happiness. And finally, being human is the happiness.

the seasons in me change
with ever changing seasons outside
giving home to the bruised ,
like wild dandelions under the parched sky.

My ribs are two slides of land
build up near the river bank .
Ivy wrapping around my spine
crumbly blowing breaths of sunshine .

Science tells me that wind
is the natural movement of the air.
While
I want to show you the
fiery breaths of the wind that
sentimentally stare .

Of the scenes ,
embedded in the back of my brain.
the canvas I painted ,
was mere vision of this life.

I walk like the autumn
and resonate
with the wind.
No roses this summer ,

I can't shake this feelings aside,
How everyday I am drenching into these fears,
Losing my sanity at every turn,

With light barely visible,

There is this private world
born out of poetries ,
in which every poet learns
to say " I love you " in
so many different languages.

Our words keep falling from
our eye's like dew drops
on a red rose from december night .
I remember the season when
it dawn'd on my gaze ,
poetry takes in every iota of
this world.

And you can hear the sound of
poet's heart ,
like a sea of cosmic sirens whispering
beckoning to ruinous
liquid tear shores beneath the dusky sky.

- driven brittle illusions
thus we write
a poets song that cannot be sung.
Chaos beneath our steps
and heaven upon our heads .
We always try to solve the chaos
among humanity .

In the plethora of senses
we scribble magic .
We are born in flurry of

Who puts boundaries to stories?

have you ever heard people telling strange stories about yourself that you have not even thought in your wildest dreams.? Rumours are Limitless, and so the people believing and reciting them too.

At a point you too hear such stories about yourself, maybe the last one to hear. Source for such rumours remain unknown but stopping them won't change things back to how it was. You can't be perfect for nobody but still can't tolerate their disgusting way of staring.

So what will we do then? Sit and cry? Curse everything? Escape ? Hurt yourself? No never. It's like providing an another opportunity to those story makers to prove their things were real.

So let's make their heroine a bit more attractive, let her rule rest of the part. It's us who define our character, not those stalkers. Our life is not to prove them right or wrong. Let them build up new creative stories, it won't end with me or you. And sometimes not giving a reaction is also a reaction

Some stories never ends, new plots, irreplaceable characters, unexpected twists and with no proper endings it keeps on adding. That's how exactly life is. Such a small world with an infinite never-ending stories. We all are born alone but life let's us all related through human connections, and sometimes such connections are the only reason why we survive.

Vibes, lies, pain, regrets, we build along the story, hope turns the page. Absence will occupy its presence too. Our responsibility is to capture the best of the moments, perfect frames, being better portraits of characters. Even the tears and fears we suffer knowingly or unknowingly is adding sense to the story.
There are invisible strings we all are attached to, we all crave for it be a long-lasting one. Some strings are fragile, others are eternal, and such bonds never ends within me or you or us.

Things don't stay pretty always, and that's a strange truth of time. As time goes on we discover new versions of anything and everything around us and the one inside you also undergoes changes, the best and the worst. Yes.. Change is the only constant.

Sometimes we fail to describe things happening around us. How could things change all of a sudden, we wonder and that's life. You can't take anything for granted. Nobody, nothing in this world can be considered as ours alone. And whatever we have lost is not ours anymore and it's for the good.

But the purest thing of the entire universe is that the ones who holds on to you even on the toughest times. When things get messy, when you hate yourself more, when you curse yourself like hell, still your flaws glow when you are around them. Life isn't easy and literally we are all alone in some way or the other, but with some real gems, you feel worth and never forget to take care of those precious souls. Value them. They deserves to be loved.

A simple feeling with zillions of definitions although it's difficult to elaborate this heavenly feeling in words but one thing that you may find common in each definition is that,
'love is world's most beautiful and powerful emotion.'

Now many of you might question, "How can love be simple?"
My friend, the answer is as simple as your question.
Love a simple feeling, complicated by the invasion of few other impure feelings like - Ego, jealousy, anger, suspicion, lust and the list goes on.

I genuinely feel, people now a days have developed a different kind of perception towards love which might not be actually LOVE! They fall in 'love' with a person's eyes, smile or any other physical feature. They fall in LOVE instantly. Do you actually think love? Are you also following this trend of 'falling in LOVE with someone in a fraction of second?' Does it really happen that quick?

Tell me one thing. In love, isn't knowing each other necessary and important? What do you know about that person whom you say you love? Is this really love or anything else?
Just outer appearance and physical features of someone is enough to make you fall in 'love' with them?

Or,

It's just a crush.

Buddy, there's a world of difference between 'having a crush on someone' and 'loving someone'. If you look at the person with your naked eyes then may be you will just see their outer appearance, observe their inner self through the eyes of your soul. (Sounds filmy? Well grasping the truth is not always that easy.)

The feeling which many misinterpret as LOVE is actually ATTRACTION! You can actually call it a duplicate copy of Love which will make you blind for a while untill you find someone better.

So darling, before you go for someone out of attraction, sort out the feelings in your heart and the confusions in your brain.
