It started out as a "Why am I feeling this?"
Went on to be "Maybe it's just ok to let go"
Grew stronger with "There's something amiss"
Finally, it was sealed with "This is the one, I know!"
Messages started off while the initial "talking is tough" phase,
Slowly speaking was easier than it seemed.
It was complete when it changed to a simple glance sideways
And the message was conveyed.
The conversations were endless,
The moments together seemed fleeting yet built a mutual reliance,
Hours were like seconds, even essays couldn’t fully express
It was fun to talk, yet a strange comfort was felt in the combined silence.
The journey began as a stranger
Went on to be a confidant
With no courage to confess despite there being no danger
The person who made it all comfortable was also the one to daunt.
While one waited patiently for the words,
The other assumed it would ruin the equation,
Time moved on and so did the birds,
But neither realised that it all ended with an assumption.

Understand the Assumption
Eagerness to assume things takes more weight than understanding , one may have to carry for longer. If its the other way around the world would’ve seen more love.

I thought you're my morning tea
But you turned out to be instant coffee
I thought you're the warmth of my cozy blanket
But you disappeared like the momentary sparkle
I thought you're my staple
But you were just a welcome drink
I thought you're my madness
But you chose to be a conscious call
I thought you are my unspoken words
But you turned out to be the bitter utterances
I thought you're my other half
But you chose to split me apart
I know a nightmare these all will be
When I wake up to my morning tea

Standing straight up for the disdained front

Whisper, whisper, then susurrous grunts
And choke by the words, oh so forlorn
Then, clapping, and clanging be our souls
Pointing to the other as we ever shyly stand
The sun won't be playing out its dear role
Leaving you behind, deals become grand
Rumors, then rumors like the ireful virus
Landing to the ears, implying their figure
Sweet heavens become chants stupendous
And we wear out across the lavas impure
"Windows do be our escape to the outside"
And trying, though they judge as they seem
And detention for those kids as they glide
Towards the trespassing zone of their esteem
Stay where the devil instructs you to stay
And pray that they don't notice your ego
If not, then gossips behold in all its ways
Decrying, and crying's where we'll all go

Will you hold my hand when I will get scared by the loud music of the club and darkness in the movie theater?
Yeah, I get really scared of the loud music and dark rooms.
I am not a party animal, so will you prefer to stay at home with me?
Will you cuddle with me in winter afternoons and give me the last bite of chicken nuggets?
Will you not judge me for being a messy mess?
Will you stay like this always, appreciating me and loving me, promise me that you won't change?
Will you buy me chocolates on my birthday and get me orchids occasionally? I know it's cliche but so are we!
Will you never get tired of my useless assumptions and my rants?
Honestly, I am an emotionally dependent type of life partner, will you be able to live with that?

Assumption
We all invest our time on people and we do everything by our side but when they show us different side suddenly we " assume" things and lose hope and move on.
But does they really change ? Well No, maybe they are going through something.
Its our " assumption" make us think like that way.
So again Don't lose hope on who you invest, they still same if you talk to them again like you used to.
