The Children
The children. ..
So often forgotten.
The child. The wanderer.
Sense of wonder.
Hungry mind.
Eyes large with curiousity.
Gentle souls.
Scared of the dark... As they should be.
So often they are left there.
It's rather sad really..
There's nothing in the dark but monsters and confusion.
Eyes closed. False light
A terrible illusion.
Stagnant seclsion.
Save the children.
Save yourself.

Is there even a word?
For that brief, beautiful moment.
That perfect, peaceful nothingness.
A rather strange, yet comfortable feeling.
Everything that brings the heart pain, forgotten.
The dawn meets the eye.
Serene sentiment.
Suddenly,
Pain and memory return.
Then comes dread.
A Cumbersome existence hinders.
Digging deep.
Finding strength.

I just grab a pen and paper or a notebook
If I wish to write poems, quotes or lyrics
Or I use my phone's notes and social media
If I wanted it virtual and modern;
Then I feel the rush of thoughts
Going with the flow of emotions,
Listening to my intuition—Spirit voice,
And following the rules of the club;
Reminiscing my experiences,
Putting creative art in writing—
Direct, simple yet deep enough
To capture the heart of the soul
That is doomed by the shadows of sin,
Or awaken the dormant thinker
That is veiled by the hypnotizing covers
Of this world's scheme of things;
Besides, little things matter
Like the present moment's wonders—
Appreciating and delighting in the senses
And the outside world from where borne
My internal motivation to write;
These are just the tools that I use
For my soul's relief, learning, and poetry.

Let's awaken our instincts
We've reached life's brink
Weird now seems normal
Whereas normal absolutely formal
Unexpected needs now to be expected
Unknown things now been detected
Human life now become unpredictable
Laws of nature too un-understable
Calamity seems never ending
Only hopes keep life binding
The universe is in a twirl
Human life too in a swirl
All hearts siliently pray
Someday to weaken the prey
Once again life to bloom
Faces with smiles to groom
Its been six long months
Normalcy been abandoned
Each day just being counted
To be the last day and ill luck to dismount
Yet hopes do prevail
Almighty does hear our wail
He'll sail our boats across the storm
For our God than the calamity is strong
Surely that day shall come
When all calamity is gone
When our Almighty is there
What have we to fear?

Darkness
At times I used to feel darkness haunting me.
The darkness that arose from unlisted reasons.
I failed to understand whether it was the absence of light or it didn't allow the presence of light to be appreciated.
Then my senses awoke. Realisation told me that it were my eyes that were habituated to darkness, my mind that found comfort in being nocturnal, and my soul that made me prone to feel the blackness.
I eventually developed the courage to force my eyelids open so the rays of the sparkling light could gush through the pupillary apertures of my eyes.
Now my world was lit with goodness and hope - but not EXPECTATIONS and DESIRES that are never fulfilled.
