Dearest Somebody
I feel so alone. Truth is I am.
Knees on the sand with tears in my hands.
Fighting in the darkness, fighting against time.
Finding a way to keep lit, this little light of mine.
Dearest somebody somewhere please hear my plee.
Help me find peace in this world, help me remain me.
Share your life stories, teach me all that you know.
Listen to mine, be there for me as I grow.
I feel so alone, Truth is I am.
Accepting nothing seems to go quite like its been planned.
Almost as soon as I get excited.
The darkness gets delighted.
Ive noticed the pattern, so walk a different path.
Still see lifes flames, still feel its wrath.
I tried to continue on for as long as I can.
But I no longer see a way, Ive ran out of land.
Goodbye my loved ones, sunshine, rain.
Goodbye universe, the sea and my pain.
So many times it was written, my apology and my goodbye.
Each paper smeared with tears I had cried.
Even with no response, my deepest feelings I would share.
I was sure some how someone some where would care.
It became a ritual though even now the reason why im not certain.
But Id tell the universe often how I felt like the biggest of burdens.
How the weight on the world has me brought once more to my knees.
How if I could be granted more strength Id be still willing to please.
For I have enough hope, its positivity I need.
Ive sacrificed all I have, and Im willing to sacrifice myself.
All I ask is that my kindred be happy and remain in good health.
But maybe theres a way to grow out of my present self.
End a phase and start a new book for lifes shelf.
Maybe being so lost just happened to be fate.
Maybe theres some magic to knowing how to wait.
Lately its been a challenge just to stay focussed.
As I fell under a ferocious hypnosis that has me feeling atrocious.
But im certain my absence not one soul would notice.
Then I overcome this overwhelming feeling, inner song plays a new beat.
Refusing to be under the category labeled defeat.
I raise to my feet, with head held up high.
I know my limits are those beyond the sky.
Regardless of speedbumbs my soul will continue to try.
And Ill cherish each memory, the dark with the light as they both pass me by.
Watching the probable and impossible Intertwine.
Odd against me seem astronomical but ill keep trying.
Fight with all I have to stop my soul and this world from dying.

Dealing with
Broken and unseen

That was fading in that smoke screen!
I know it wasn't my fault
But I was so busy crying
That I chickened out
Instead of even trying!
Now I have blood on my hands
And it creeps me out
Just won't let me sleep
And it makes me scream!
So I roll it up
Into some fancy words
Trying to fool myself
Trying to fool the world!
Am I losing my mind?
Am I losing my soul?

Living in a limbo of dead
People pretending to care when you are around
And laughing at your back!
In one moment they say you are useless
In other, "you need help!"
Lost somewhere in confusion and hypocrisy
You lose patience, you lose your sanity
And as the memories from your past starts to linger
You smile back at the world with a middle finger

Colorful butterflies hovering on the flowers
Fireflies burning with a soothing cold shine!
I lie down on the dry grass and feel it to be alive
I want to cry but all I can is smile!
This view is perfect
Everything I ever wished for!
With the memories of past and some hope for the future
Trying to seal my wounds with a virtual suture!
I close my eyes listening to the bees
To dream about you, me and our piano keys!

With ivy all around this little castle of your hopes
Your lofty battlements got covered up with moss!
Afraid to let your guard down
You become rock solid deep inside
Trusting no one, cutting yourself from the world outside!
You put yourself behind these invisible bars
For the crimes you committed at the midnight hour!
With splitting headache and freezing feet
Feel, think, process, fail, repeat!
You lie down on the cold ground
And think about that mysterious letter in lost and found!

एक कहानी लिखी मैंने
एक कहानी तुम लिखना
किस्मत के कंधे पर सिर रख
थोड़ा सा संभलना
किरदारों की यादों से
सजी संवरी मैं
जंग कभी खुदकी, कभी सितारों की
मै जीती, मै हारी
चल अब तेरी बारी!
कुछ ख्वाब थे अनदेखे से, बचकाने से
किरदारों से मोहब्बत आसान थी!
चांद सितारों में उलझी ऐसे
मंज़िल शायद थोड़ी बदनाम थी
लोगों के लिए तोड़ा, मरौड़ा
कितनी ख्वाहिशों को पीछे छोड़ा!
कहानी एक अधूरी सी
ज़ख्मी पड़ी किसी कोने में थी!
बंद आंखों से सपने देखने की
आदत जो लगी
यादें सारी धुंधलाने लगी!

Looking out of the bay window!

In those deep, dark eyes, forever!

The hidden staircase in this
gigantic chateau of my memories
Take me to the hyaenas in the jungle!
As flamingos were never a part of these entangled dreams!
I cloak away my insecurities and fear!
Silently watching them prouncing on a deer!
Wanting you to come and hold me
Maybe even scold me
For being so careless
Or shall I say carefree!
I wake up to reality
Forcefully shutting down my virtual world!
The moon tide wash away the beach sand
I lie there stuck in bardo!
As the stains of my rose colored glasses fade away!
I soak up the warmth of the Sun
Letting that tan burn away all the scars!
Staring at the light from the lighthouse
I search for you to haunt me for rest of the eternity!
I find you!
I find you, only to lose me
