Anniversary
My parents 50th wedding anniversary was the last big party we had for them.
It was a happy day and all of the family came to the church to celebrate with mom and dad.
What a huge accomplishment and special day for the two. It amazed me looking at all the kids and how if it hadnt been for these 2 (mom & dad)falling in love and marrying.... How none of these later generations would exist. It all started with them. My parent have always meant the world to me. My dad was getting sickly at this time of his life and passed away not too long after this celebration. So this was one of the last memories we all made with him. My parents will always be a huge part of who I am. I love them both so much and i pray my daddy knew how much i loved him. My momma is still here with me and i tell her i love her every day. Cherish the parties and get togethers. One day there may be some missing from the seats. Hold tightly to your parents and all theyve taught you through the years. You will cherish it all one day.

Meaning of Life
Life is what you make of it.
God has a purpose for each of us and a plan for each one of us.
One he destines us each for.
He gives us free will.
The path we take in life is ours to do what we wish.
However there are consequences to choices we make.
In my opinion, when I stay the course of life I feel is Holy Spirit led, things always seem to work out for the better.
When I do my own thing in life disaster tends to follow.
Gods plan for us is what I believe to be the meaning if life.

You have forgotten your identity.
Take time with God and He will remind you who you are.
When you spend time with Him you see a little bit of who you are supposed to be.

Weight Obsession
See that is what God is working on with us. We think our value lies in our weight.
And what it boils down to..... is not actually the weight. But the hurt weve felt because of other people having a problem with our weight.
Or the way weve been abused or used or hurt or treated, because we attribite those things with our weight.
But in reality our weight was OUR ISSUE, and the people who hurt us had their own issues! They used something we saw as a flaw in ourself, as a way to let out their pain. So they would be mean and crappy to us.
So we grabbed that hurt and we placed it all in our issue. Our weight!! We did this over and over until we began to only see the weight! Thus began to hate ourself, because of the weight. But there is a root behind the weight... many roots. We gotta weed out those roots until we see ourself with the weight as a beautiful flower garden. When I see a weed in a garden i dont say ewww thats ugly... and let it taint the beauty of all the flowers. We gotta pluck it out, so it dont turn the whole flower bed into weeds. We have alot of issues rooted. Im tired of seeing myself as an ugly weed, because GOD MADE ME and HE SAYS IM BEAUTIFUL!!! If other people wanna see me as a weed. Well thats their own issue, and we cant care. Who do we care about? What they think???? ONLY Gods opinion. Once we see what a flower we are, and deroot the weeds. We see ourself as beautiful. More flowers will grow in us. And less weeds will be able to grow. Im sorry for my analagies but its how God teaches me. YOU ARE beautiful and your weight doesnt define that beauty. GOD DOES!!!

Life Cycle: Superhero: Daddys Girl
Her growing tummy it flutters inside.
Hearing your heartbeat brought me a smile.
Nine months seemed like a lifetime.
We waited for that first smile.
You walk then talk, then run and play.
Bittersweet are those days for sure.
Then teenage years come crashing in.
Dont know how I did endure.
The day I let you drive my car.
You felt like you'd won a prize.
When you ran the red light, I never closed my eyes.
I taught you how to fix a tire, I taught you how to dance.
Who knew those days would pass me by oh so very fast.
Then one day his eyes met yours.
It seemed your heart no longer beat for me.
As he walked you down the aisle...
I surely shed some tears for me.
I used to be your superhero,
Now he is your prince.
Gone are the days I held you in my arms.
They have not held you since.
One day you came to see me...
Your eyes lit up with pride.
As you announced your tummy...
Had a new heartbeat inside.
What I felt at that moment
Was so much like the day your eyes met mine.
When the doctor gave you to me.
Said "your baby girls just fine"
And so became the story...
Lifes cycle had begun.
And now Im old and gray.
With many granddaughters and grandsons.
As i lay here in this hospital bed.
Your fingers wrapped tightly around mine.
You say "youre still my superhero, your baby girl will be just fine".
Your eyes now shed a tear, surely some for you.
You say "without my superhero, whatever will i do"?
As my eyes closed I saw your precious face slowly fade away.
When my eyes reopened, I saw Jesus face to face.

Being afraid of healing and change is normal because sometimes we have no idea who we are outside of our trauma. everything has a reason to happen so don't think too much, Trust your process. Everything will be alright very soon.
