I am not a child anymore
But I will forever be that little one
She gave birth to
Within her walls of pain.
Happy Children's Day to everyone of us
We are all children in one way or the other.

We are fighting,
Not just because,
We are passionate,
but because,
We are survivors.

Every talk seems like a way to hurt you.
Every deed doesn't seem right.

Even today Many people treat the girl child as liability and the boy child as an asset and then they ask question about India not becoming Superpower.

Oh my child
Be safe inside me
This world is too strange
Religion is worthwhile than you
Politics slays and man dies
I can't assure you safety
Oh my child
Come in to this world with
Boldness and sober
If iam not there to protect you
You should survive
If not stay in my coffer
My WOMB
©the__inkslinger18 3 1Dear boychild,
The society has taught you,
Men do not cry!
For you are fashioned to be strong
Yes! They taught you,
it's a sign of weakness
The society taught you,
The only way to become a man
Is to always confront your fears
And even when you lose,
You still have to be the man.
You grew up caging your emotions
Bottling your weakness and heartbreak
You watched your sister being pampered
You were to act the man
As long as that made you what the society desired.
You're humans too,
perhaps the society forgot that
You feel pain as well
You suffer heartbreaks
You also cry,
You are sometimes tortured,
But silence has been your friend
As long as that made you a man.
You are designed to be stronger, yes!
But what happens when you get weak?
Boychild, be the man.
Let a little tenderness flow
Your ego isn't tainted
Like you were made to believe
You want to be a superman,
You sometimes need a supergirl.
You want to be the antman,
You sometimes need a wasp.
You deserve to be happy too,
Like your counterpart.
It makes you no less than a man
For the boychild of now,
And the man tomorrow,
Live your life,
There's no crime in being a man.

A Quiet Knot
Numerous knots.
She tied every weekend.
Orphaned prayers carrying hopes for an end.
Every dawn and dusk, melodiously she sends.
Often she longed.
A womb that can bear.
A 'complete' boy in it's core.
Dreamed of soft muscles becoming tore.
A mysterious creature.
Of manly structures.
Befriended a 'SHE' like substructure.
For she too bears that 'SHE' thing.
She acknowledged that chaotic being.
A truth to face,a truth to hide.
Can ever these common perceptions be broad?
Perplexed mother caught in a puzzle.
What and how to define her 'INVENTION'?
What most awaited?
Were they flowers or detention?
Fate betrayed when tools just failed.
Hopes better seek shelter where
faith wrapped in threads.
She toiled her mind.
For a way which can wind.
Those barriers promoting 'IT's' feminine.
Whatever she tries,ended in cries.
Nothing could be done hence.
Raising in 'IT's' true sense.
A blended version of what's natural.
As thorns supporting rose seems factual.
Tell me,when can IT become acceptable?
Yet that day seems to be far.
Till then, filling love in 'IT's scars.
Knotting fatal hopes in the bars.
But, now it seems better.
Waiting for that last thread.
Winding up that last breath.
