Bright
Fog settled last night,
The sun didn't rise today,
It looks like melancholy
Is the only one to stay;
Dim streetlights here
Are iIlluminating the ground,
Yet darkness is prevalent,
The only thing that hounds.
So I hope there is more blue
In the morning sky this May
So that yellows look more bright
To her sea green eyes today.

You and I
Sit with me and watch the moon,
And don't dare to tell me you're going soon,
Hand in hand let's go to the place where flowers of joy bloom,
And forget about that deepest gloom,
Looking at each other,
I'll fall into your eyes,
A smile on your face,
I'll capture the sight,
You telling me bout the day you spent,
I'll tell you bout mine,
Watching the moon,
On the ground we'll lie,
And I'll tell you,
Just like the moon shines because of the sun,
You're the reason behind,
My eternal smile..

It was a bright day filled with colors
I looked into the mirror and
Asked, "Mirror Mirror, On the wall
Show me the happiest person in this world".
All on a sudden dark clouds took over the bright sky
And the lights were off with a rumble.
There was a giggling sound echoing through the walls
Scaring the hell out of me.
I took courage to look for a matchstick and
Lit a white candle whose reflection was seen in the mirror as a ray of hope
The panic striken look on my face
Slowly turned into a smile.
And then I heard this bizzare voice
"Darkness is all around
But the one who manages to see the light
Will definitely find happiness, just like you"

And listen to the birds call.

Breathe in the fresh air.

Caged
I am a cage
In search of a bird( Franz Kafka)
A cage made of rust and curse
resisting my mate to unfurl her
beautiful pinion,
I am a cage
In search of a bird
my cage is made of false faith
and trust,
I am caged to satisfy your
pacifying lies
My freedom and will
were never mine,
It was bought to be hanged
forever night.
Piercing the roving sun
the crepuscular rays
hits my cage lock
my eyes refrains to
recognise, I am bound to
wake and set my gloomy heart
free for a new comrade to fly in,
Past night's blood Stains soaked in me
I have seen her holding onto me for the last
time to retrieve, but I failed to gain her sustain.
My fate seized the key of life
I am hanged till antiquated
holding the rivet to death,
falling from dawn to twilight
I failed to bridge what reclines,
in the duality of dusk,
yet the twine to death changes,
Often now and then.
I trudge while twirling
guarding new mates to
invade my aviary,
Day and night passes, the rust on my limbs cries out loud to fall on the terrain being levigated.
Fledglings visits and leaps,
Leaps with a pride to manifest
her eternal saga,
she leaps with her wings stretched
and flies with the shades of eventide.
Myriad shades of dusk and lust
we shared, together,
Myriad shades of faith and ruse
we shared, together,
We witnessed falling of leafs on the pyre of saints and monks of archfiend on winter nights,
we h've seen
vivid morn harbouring
my silhouette till the day ends
falling on the feeds of traitors,
I have witnessed their feathers
fitting in the debts of death and birth.
Sighs!!!!!!
They all flew away!!!
Left me broke
The resonance of their fluttering wings were left unscathed , It resonated back to the hutch faltered the nails fixed to the wall, and dived into the cinders,
One elegiac morn in winters
freezing zephyr offered my empty hutch, with a news of us falling apart.
I am a cage
seeking for my lost bird
It shall remain empty
till she roves back
I am a cage
Seeking for my fallen bird
it shall remain in the cinders
until the eventide conquers the bright.
