Life is great. We cannot forget our love and our close ones even under much trouble times. Even if we lose our consciousness.
If we fail to recognise them not within few minutes, I am sure we will recognise them after many decades too. But we will acknowledge the beloved ones as ours.

Then I realized having you in my life is not a dream rather a lovely memory.
And regaining my lost memory was a sort of undying glory.
Glory for all those people who were and are close to my heart.
That was the day I felt that I had my life's fresh start.

Listening to the birds sweet song, I hear my mind start to sing along
Seeing the waves break upon the shore, I feel my body start to sway at its core
Whispers on the breeze stir the rhythm within my heart

Here I am just a bit shy yet alluringly captivating
Ready to reveal a new shade of me
Stumbling towards greatness, forgiving all the flaws
World hasn't swallowed me up, I bit off its claws
Not always nice, don't want to sit still or be pretty
Soul thrives on more that is messy and gritty
Unfolding as a rare flower, look closer at me
Throwing off haters, fears and unpleasantries
Rising to claim the best inside, can't be contained, hidden or denied
Taking what's given, polishing dirt into gold
Shining within shadows, truth comes through as bold
Shudder to think of what ordinary life would have bloomed

Filled with hope that I'll one day see you again
Every tear drop bathes my soul with thoughts that drain
Allowing the geyser of pain release of the pressure
Simmering down creating a calming refresher
Containing all extremities of emotion
My heart loves as deep and as wide as the ocean
Without you here I just feel lost
Staring at the blank canvas of an artist
All the world looks black and white
Lacking of any brilliance in color at first sight
Traveling beneath now, I turn inwards to hibernate
Returning when these sad feelings dissipate
Caring less now who sees my human rain
Such a long and winding road is this terrain

Torn from attachments, expectations and outcomes
World turned upside down and inside out
Ripped from the comforts once taken for granted
Universal truths, divine arrival
To feel and heal, pain isn't circumvented
Sitting as still as I can be
Awaiting what the future holds for me
Tears fall in their place while my soul cries for mercy
Allowing myself to feel this without resistance
Emotions bubbling to the surface threaten my balance
Stand up tall.... I tell myself,
Reclaiming my place by taking a deep breath
Knowing this is all an initiation for what's next
Silently I pray for salvation
Crawling slowly towards what will create elevation
Today's lessons are harder than most
Wrestling with all of yesterday's ghosts
Take it all from me I sputter out

Silent Loneliness
My words don't flow like they used to. They don't just come to me. The voices dont help me anymore. Even they are silent and I am left alone. I find myself wondering if this loneliness will be permanent or will the voices come back to keep me company.

Good to know
So, you're still waiting? Apparently, you're still looking? You're hoping that one day the love of your life, that perfect partner, that soul mate, will walk into your life. You are keeping your eyes open, your ear to the ground and options open praying that one day she will float in and make you feel whole.
That's great, but maybe, just maybe, you could have clued me in. After all, I am your wife. You did take vows and say that I was the only one for you. Maybe you should have let me know that your door is still open and you're waiting for her to walk through. Would have been nice to know that I was just a placeholder, a seat filler, just someone to keep you company.
I'm not mad. You could have just told me.

Finally Herself
She found herself finally thinking of herself, and everyone said that she was wrong.
She wiped away tears, but the stains remained.
She swore to use them as bricks, building a wall to prevent anyone from getting close by.
Her heart beats stronger and began to regain its strength, no more being soft and hanging on her sleeve.
She looked at herself in the mirror and began to like to what she saw, an image that became much clearer now.
Nothing would stop her.
No one would stand in her way, even those who repeatedly told her that she was wrong.

Fade
I'm going to fade into the background of this life. There's no point in trying to be the star when I barely made it through the casting for seat filler number one. I'm tired of trying to shine in a world that already collectively blinds me. I'm not meant to be a frontrunner. I can barely keep up with that fellow in last place.

Careless Hands
The worst thing you can do is put your trust in someone. The dumbest thing you can do is believe that they would never deceive you. Your heart is the most fragile thing you have, yet you easily put it in the careless hands of another. You may not hurt now, but you will. You may not be crying now, but those eyes won't be dry for long. Take it from someone who's been stupid time and time again, love hurts, tears stain your cheeks and the scars never truly go away.
