PRINCESS OF MY HEART
You are the one I think of when I pen affectionate poetry.
You are the one in my heart when I scribble a love story.
Every piece centered on love is, of you, celebratory
Because somehow it has been made mandatory.
I cannot seem to resist,
Cannot seem to desist
From letting you snatch all of my attention like a successful heist.
Surprisingly, you become more than just another name on my people list.
Just hearing your name gets me, invigorated.
I cannot have the energy, abated.
With others, I seem to have a right to have my emotions inflated or deflated
But with you, it is always inflated.
To see you, I am ever excited
As you have the best parts of me ignited.
How best to put this, I do not know
But I guess you already know.
You already know I hold you in my heart like gold
And hope that we end up together and grow old.
I have thought of shooting shots at others, I must admit
But the seed of love you have planted in my heart would not let me, such actions, commit.

Lost in life's strenuous punishments
It has become unspeakably prevalent
Aggravating everyday's contentment
Silently, as I'm left in abhorred torment
A halo won't arrive in the flooded silence
Accompanied by waters of red in abundance
Frantic melodies, and broken charms
All a cataclysm to be so alarmed
It does its surreptitious abominations
Vestiges are a yesteryear, and only a prediction
Its volatile movements are rather a future guess
Marked heavily by its deathly wishes
Life's given such a taste of a dilemma
Reaching such an unimaginable threshold
Its sole reason is rather a secluded enigma
Unspoken, as it continues adversely untold

Uncertainties that tainted my mind
Oh, how the melodies wouldn't shine
Harmony was broken, it was all irregular
Heartbeats, thoughts, all of no colors
Rhythm lacked, dissonance hacked
The normal systems of my everyday tracks
Unhappy, I did not ask for such thing
To be interfering in my only everything
Irrespectively, thoughts are all jumbled up
Their sounds didn't blend together into harmony, that's up
Last time, but now, it got destroyed
By dissonance I didn't wish for, it was all devoid
Do I ever insist into coming back to those times
Rhythm was present, like those lovely wind chimes
But here I am, dissonance is wiping out
The everyday life so happy, it's all a dull blackout

Hello non-existent friend
I hope another day won't bend
Into chaos making our friendship end
I promise I won't try to pretend
You can wear some clothes in the closet
As you've stopped developing and became inchoate
So you'll like a human like me
I think people will not really notice or see
Don't worry, you are not like those silhouettes
But rather, a friend with genuine feelings
One day, you'll become an aspiring poet
And you'll feel what life is really
Let's not pick people too adversarial
Or ones nitpicking about stuff too trivial
Time isn't to be wasted of such things
But meant for people to really do something
I hope one day, you'll become true
And become a human like me too
But for now, we're still in an imagination
An enclosed space waiting to come to fruition

Curtains Closed
Everything is not always to be seen
Even if you're interested on what it could've been
Not all things are to be open for sight
As they don't give off the same light
The curtains are closed, private from the outside
But each time, your temptations tell you to look at each side
Wondering as to what it lurks inside
Whether small-scale or life-changing, you'd still try
It must've been your mind disagreeing with your body
But your body's too strong, as it takes the lead
To find out the ultimate truth secretly
Those things that you'll need or will never need
As influential as it is, no matter the result
Good or bad, it'll be influenced upon you
Whether or not it would be a grave insult
To you though, you'd still do it anyway too

Valentine's Day :
gross commercialisation of love
If it's not just commercialisation then what is it?? How can anyone measure love in terms of just material aspects such as gifts chocolate cards etc..??
What is the whole point of celebrating "love" for a day when it should be a genuinely passionate everlasting emotion...?
Why are all of us just blindly following such customs which are more commercialised than we think it is...??
It is so grossly sickening and overrated that people are mechanically spending lavishly on extravagant gifts on the so called day of love just so that they can proclaim to the world their love for each other ....
We should hence block ourselves out from this culture of over consumption and not fall prey to those marketing predators that feed on our materialism and consumerism. ..
Hoping for a world of genuine emotions and a sensible world...

घर भी सजा था।
सजे थे सब घर वाले।
खुशियों की आरती उतारने
इंतजार में थे लड़की वाले।
व्यवस्था संभालने में भाई लगा था।
बहन भी कर रही थी तैयारी।
माता-पिता लगे थे अतिथि सत्कार में
क्योंकि
इंतजार में थे लड़की वाले।
उन खुबसूरत आँखों में एक सपना जन्मा था।
लबों पे थी शर्म की मुस्कुराहट।
सजी थी वो चाँदनी के रुप में
नई नवेली दुल्हन।
भाग-दौड़ हर जगह लगा था।
हर कोई परेशान खड़ा था।
हो रहे थे सब बेताब
क्योंकि
इंतजार में थे लड़की वाले।
बारात ना पहुँचा चौखट पर उस दिन।
जहाँ पसरा अब सन्नाटा था।
टूट गया हर सपना उस दिन
टूट गयी हर उम्मीद।
टूट गए माँ-बाप के हौसले
टूट गयी उस दुल्हन की शादी और उससे जुड़ी हर रीत।
कारण जब पता चला था।
खून खौल उठा था।
दहेज़ की वजह से
आज एक और शादी टूटी थी।
