The mirror
I know your looking in the mirror and your asking;
Why me, of all me people in this world, why little old me?
It just had to be me didn't it?
To take on all this pain.
Pain that wont cut me some slack even when im begging it to.
With tears that just wont stop falling.
Just tell me why me?
Why you? Well Because
If you just look in the mirror you'll see
Its you because you are strong,
You can do this, you will pull through
And when you come through the over side You will realise there was strength in your pain.
Although all you can feel now is weakness.

Terrified
I am terrified
Terrified of falling in
Love with a woman
Because when you fall
For someone of the same sex
It is a big deal
You have to come out
Not just to your mum and dad
But also your siblings
Your best friends, colleagues
And grans, granddads aunties too
It too much for me.

Got out of town
To escape everything
That made me down
But now it's over
And I am back
I can already feel
The world turning black
The thoughts begin
To evade my mind
Why cant I just for once

Medical form
Today I filled out a medical form
And said that I am fit and healthy
But I know that was a lie
Because I am not
And not just because I have
These rashes I can't explain
But because
My head always aches
And I am tired all the time
I feel so numb it hurts
And my mind is a cluttered mess
I want to stop to have a breath
But when I do I cannot catch it
I know I am not well
But it is not physical
And so I don't say a word aloud.

Watching it play out like a spectator at a sports match.
I am not a participant in my story,
Instead I am watching from the outside.
And as I watch, I do not enjoy the show

Work is hard, I feel so stressed
I want to be happy
I really do
But its so hard
I’ve lost my motivation,
All my ideas are gone
I have things to look forward to
Like moving rooms
And starting a fresh
But still I walk around the building
And I’m numb
I want to leave and
Do something crazy
But that wont help me
It wont tell me
Who the fuck I am
In this weird old world
I’m confused

I don’t know what to do

I stood at the bus stop,
On a stormy rainy day,
Long awaiting the bus of felicitous opportunity,
To carry me to the destination of my dreams.
Buses of opportunities came and went,
But I wasn't sure of boarding any,
And when the last bus arrived at the bus stop,
I half-heartedly took a step ahead to board the bus,
But unfortunately, there weren't any vacant seats left,
And I started walking in the rain drenching myself,
In the hope of finding another bus of opportunity,
To reach the destination of my dreams.

'YOUR SECRET IS SAFE WITH ME'
I promised I wouldn't tell anybody.
"I promise, I swear."
I told somebody who I trusted and shared a secret
That I promised I wouldn't dare
I've told her many secrets and she never told a tale.
"Who says I couldn't trust her it's not even a big of a deal." I said.
I can keep a secret if it's super serious what was this to cause any type damage.
It's just a boy, she's not in love with him.
But sharing something that is not mine is a violation of friendship.
And certainly if I can't keep a secret most definitely I can't keep a friend.

It's so still
The time she felt is so still.
There's an old man
and children besides her
Must be a vacation , she assumes
Vibrant in their faces
Collecting pebbles and modelling sand
Having a love affair with joyous
Yeah,tickling her soul
As she looks around
It's delighted !!
The bicycle she burrowed
Reminds her from her Father's house
How radiant!!
Riding almost matches to bullets
Always she felt reaching the clouds
Clicked her those precious moments
Nostalgic as she revive.
As she follows her way to the cottage
Holding memories of her youth
Sounds of bells, laughter,
radio playing some 80's music
Horns of cars and every tiny little details
drums into her ears
The corridor of the house she visits
not a fancy
The innocence of the place
brings tears of joy in her eyes
clearly remembers the lady who gave her life
Standing tall in the antique room
Clock's hanging at the top most center
dusted with spider webs in the corner
Gloomy she felt staring at
All the smiles in the picture
Keeps her alive every day
Memories they are called
Orphanage this place is called
