The Path of Life
Amid the shadows, is a path of dirt,
A bit too evasive, but hope in my heart.
It will take me to some place, at some end,
But I don't know where it started and when it'll end.
Looking around me, I see only darkness,
Of despair, of treachery, of hate and sadness.
The path I am walking is full of rocks and thorns,
Tearing down the clothes, my soul has worn.
The wounds have opened and are oozing out faith,
Insecurities and dilemmas, are shaping my fate.
This path that I took a few years back,
Has led me to this place and now, I can't go back.
I have to find a way out of this mess,
Before I run out of courage, few of which is left.
Or my story will be over, before it even began,
And I will be lost forever in the darkness, AMEN!

The day I loved you, I trusted you more than anyone. She is such a cutie pie for me and may be I am her Prince Charming. We both made promises for being lifetime partners. I always try to amaze her. She is always happy by my astonishment. We walk on the street just keeping each other hand in hand leaving the else apart. We share each moment of life by doing crazy things. She is preparing for doctrate and me for getting the degree as a engineer. We sacrifice alot for each other. We made lifelong commitment of never ending relationship. Love is just spread all around our relationship. But, As you know past is past and you cannot even forget all the moments you made with the past and as he was her first love, feelings do come up. I planned a trip to her destination to petrify her by my presence. We meet their and she kept her head on my shoulder and asked for permission "Can I tell you something ?". I answered "You are my priority how can you take permission to ask me something!" She started crying hard and said "Recently my ex came to my town and we made some moments. Please, I beg you don't leave me for that." I was completely destroyed and hyper at the moment she told me. I pretend to be nice to her and left the city in anger. Coming back to my place I am still confused "What to do ? What not to do? Who to trust? Who to not?". I am completely broken.

One Step At A Time
I'm torn apart trying to bring solace to my soul. I need healing and time to be in complete isolation to rethink all the things I've done. Life isn't filled with all the finer things in life hence I am still ashamed of the ugly truth that comes with my past. All the trauma just brings discomfort and uneasiness to my redemptive soul. When I take a good look at my reflection in the mirror I see so many imperfections that tend to succeed in making me drown in misery. Tears just flow freely like raindrops caressing my puffed cheeks. I always feel like I am running out of time and out of luck. All these emotional breakdowns just drain my energy for their too overwhelming to comprehend. Someday day I'll rise up again through faith and uncover all the stones I've left unturned.
