Wrapping myself in a blanket of love
Receiving peaceful sleep
Deciding not to hide my Light from being fully seen
Divine wisdom does gleam
A door opens to reveal a renewed determination, a stronger confidence that raises my self esteem
Growing ever so fast out of the mindset of scarcity, seeing only true love that lasts
No longer will I play it small
Shining brightly for all
Shedding the skin of trauma and pain
Soulful gratitude is all the remains
As I rise, stepping into the spotlight
Center stage and ready for my close up

In Due Time God told me their is a master plan...

Let the trauma tell its toll
For all the positive Vibration.
And getting tired of sad poems wrote.
Here a quick synthesis of my shattered stroll
This is the shadow work of unrelenting growth.
Should I start from recall.
Or the timeliness of what's told
It's poetry, first memory gets scrolled.
(Beware it tragic)
Let's start with a Aunty,
That babysat,and molested me.
Coaching was stank,
Now the smell of Camay's rekindling.
Or watching Mommy pee on herself cause she was jonesing.
Taking bath with a mouse dead stuck by the faucet
Running.
Trashfire alleyways,and shooting gallery's.
Five cops and woman leave on stretchers.
Save a girl baby.
I was the baby girl, held mom's leg,so they wouldn't shoot Mommy. I think that's enough.

Skipped alot but ,
I'm healed,
So don't get sad,

Walking with swagger honed spreading love around
Arms reaching out for beauty to behold
Fingers touching wonders beyond which words can be told
Eyes glittering shimmer drinking all the world in
Confidence and laughter heard for miles as she is to begin
Storybook myth of this archetype so striking
Leaving all who are drawn to her light ever blinding
Decades of experience spent contemplating her power
Flowing effortlessly from this heart centered master
Channeling the mountains surrounded by deep forest trees
Rising to claim all that she's conquered at times even feared
Onwards is her journey, never a thought or worry

I wrote this poem on a day when my husband was so burnt out from work and traveling that he was barely functioning. All he wanted was to be home with me, and to go out to feed his soul from his true home - #MotherEarth. The picture is my own - it is an outdoor staircase of 2,744 steps which we sometimes climb to get away from the stresses of life and to be in the beauty of nature - to feed our souls.
I thought it was appropos for women's day as it reflects the power of the feminine - human and divine - to nurture the true needs of the soul.HER
He needed a staircase
That didn't keep going -
One that could provide
A view
- some love -
From the top.
