Bhavna it's class 9th story! A phase where everything changes maybe for the better, maybe for the worst. In our case it was the worst.
You knew I don't get along with people and I don't socialize. I was confident in public speaking but not in public. I used to hide my laughter in front of everyone else, except you. You were my jigad ka tukda But I was unable to talk to you or be with you because you were different. You were changing. You used to socialize and whenever I used to talk to you, PEOPLE had a lot of problem. Cause you see who would want to be in a circle with a short, not beautiful girl. Eventually when I used to talk to you people used to interrupt, call you and you forgot that you were talking to me.
You remember one day, you were talking to me when someone called you from outside and snap, you were gone. You were sitting with me in our class and someone called you in their class and you went, you didn't even look at me for a second. You were not there when I needed you. When I got low marks I needed a friend, but you weren't there. You weren't there when I had share the most important things of my teenage life with you.
Eventually it was giving me pain and discomfort. I never made a friend apart from you because I didn't need any of them. But then I had to. I had to be that person I wasn't, to be accepted in this world. I started to talk less to you because Jatin felt bad and I didn't want someone to feel bad because of me.
Then after few months of self doubt slowly creeping in, I thought, I should give our friendship a second chance. In this thinking process, I lost two most important people forever. You and my father. You weren't there when I lost my father. If I didn't spoke to you for a week you didn't even ask me what the reason was. It was Jatin who told you, two years later. Yet, yet you didn't came to me.
He also told you about my father's demise but you didn't bother to reach out to me even once. Do you remember when we used to fight earlier, you used to find every possible way to contact me. This time you didn't. You had everyone's number at home yet you didn't try to call. Just one phone call and I would have left every small and big differences I had with you.
You know why I asked you to leave on that farewell day it was because.............

Well this series is very close to my heart because there are definitely some similar things I went through like Sukriti did. So next your gonna hear sukriti's story. //I don't know whether we will be friends again or not but I know that deep down there we both love each other more than anything in this world.//
The station was right there, right beside us. None of us could get up. The coach within minutes was empty except the two lost souls sitting, numb!
What still remained a question for me, was why sukriti broke a ten year friendship. "Kuch to reason hoga". I said to myself giving myself a ray of hope. Why did she didn't speak to me before going and told Jatin about it? Aisa toh kabhi nahi hua tha.
Since it was the last stop, the train was still but the cluster of emotions didn't stop in our heads. Sukriti has been an overthinker humesha se. She has been that studious, sidelined girl and somewhere I did the same thing others did to her. But she was also at fault as she should have spoken to me about it. Anyways I forgot about it long years ago.
Finally building up the courage I asked her! Sukriti why did you do this to us? Why did you break our friendship. I know, right now I am breaking your promise but I need to know because I can't let this question remain in my head for long.
Sukriti knew that if she doesn't tell me the reality today, neither she is going to be happy nor me.
So she took a longggg deep breath and said "Do you really want to know". I said hell yes. This was my usual way uspe hak jatane ka.
She was quite for a few seconds and then said...........
