Ode to earth's shelflife
So I stuck my hand in to the ground today,
the soil fresh and smelling of dew drops, earthiness and pure petrichor.
An amazing thing being a child, there's nothing like getting dirty without a care in the world
Today I stuck my hand in to the ground and I cried the most awful, till my tears stained the lifeless soil.
It smelt of rot and decay, blood and bones, of crude black oil and smoke.the soil dead from the taxation put on it .
The world is nothing like I imagined;green and full of life, light and airyness and the sweet smell of wet sand
