Oh love!
Knock on my door
I promise,
I'll let you in,
carve a space
in my soul.
Like the sky has,
for the moon.
Listen to the fury
of infinite storms,
stardust bursting into flames
of fleshes and fears,
orating the unsung
dirges of the alive.
Oh love!
Hug me tight
for I've been cold for so long.
Trace the maps
to places I dream about
on my arms.
And sing lullabies
to my heart
like a love song
on a lonely night.
The home, I built
Is burning
in the fire you lit
as I stand there
mourning for the sun
Oh love!
take me with you
I promise,
it's the last time.

Water dripping from wet hair
And a red dot on her forehead,
The wet saree clinging on her
delicate body,
The charm of bangles whispering
sweet nothings,
The soft sound of anklets
while walking around,
The shy smile of a bride;
Is she a water nymph
Or a goddess?
Is she a dream or reality?
An ephemeral beauty
bathing at the ghats.

When I Close My Eyes
I imagine your eyes on mine,
A slight smile playing at your lips,
Taking it as a sign,
You're imagining my hips.
Tracing the lines and curvatures,
Of this earthly vessel,
Turning memories into daydreams,
Smoky, breathy, ambivalence;
Conflation of souls, bodies and spirits into one.
Restlessly ephemeral,
Like a warm day in Autumn,
Before the chill sets in and we close the door-
The heat smoldering, choking the flame out,
Turning to ice and preparing for Winter.
And in the Spring, with mortal and zephyr anew,
Your kiss like the sun, a reinvigorated rebirth;
Your touch, fading as the days get hotter,
Burning bright, we're fleeting;
Sweating out our sentiments.
Summer.
Salaciously sweet.
Intoxicated from the high of gin and tonic and pungent peonies;
Reading romantic poetry while exposed in the pool,
Our vessels like boats, floating on that tenderness;
Of when we were in love.

This world is made just of defining moments
scraps and shattered reflections
of you and me.

skipping rocks

Vulnerable untarnished pure
no residue of earthly hate. //
As the beautiful aurora ruled over time
Our love wore silks of scarlet, red and blue linen
that painted across the mountains & skies.
Drink it up, this sip of life.
deeper and deeper ,
the sip of this ephemeral love.

Just like a beautiful
flower that lives for only a day.
Before disappearing ,
blown away by the
wisps of the wind .
Yet let the magic of love remain
in the sky forever. //
As the natives tell of legends untold
within the midnight of dark and cold .
Let our hearts dance around that crackled bonfire ,
beating in sync on a tranquil symphony suffused
with rhapsodic zeniths ,
For everlasting time .

Reflects the sun

Your art drips down your shoulder,
The dying stars guide your soul
To eternity.
To Nirvana,
That is not so far,

my limited vast oxymoron vocabulary
in this unlimited mind of mine
hoping to discover a single word.
Searching and searching,
sifting though the trivia knowledge,
more than I’ll honestly
admit how much space it occupies.
Shifting thought this and that
hoarding of useless stuff
yes, I confess,
I’m quite a word hoarder.
Collector of quotes & phrases
hoping they will be of good use one day.
Oh, I just found the unorganized category
so forgive for being a bit muddled.
I have some many variations of this
particular word I seek.
Oh, I wish I can choose another
but only this particular word
will suffice for this specific
Mirakee writing contest,
even though I’m quite late.
Give this writer a tad of sympathy,
trudging though mind clutter
is so time consuming!

temporary...nope not it either
impermanent...nada again

Let me indulge into blood and it's stains
Don't stop me from the ultimate freedom,
A freedom that all are afraid of,
But not me!
It's the most awaited love of mine,
A painful truth but only the truth,
Ask Hitler or Jiah how happy are they,
Finding eternal peace in Luci's arms.
Why do you stop me Oh fear?
What are you afraid of?
Ephemeral is what the world offers,
Then why do you stop yourself?
Come, let's fly,
Let's fly together and find eternal peace,
And explore the land of souls.

Thoughts of you created at random.

We are just visitors in this planet , inspite of knowing that , mankind thinks he owns it ,
Man made the earth suffer and now our life is in the hands of a virus.
Nowhere in earth , the humans would've thought about such thing .
Let go of your greed , ego , envy, anger
No one's superior and no one's inferior.
We are a metal ball suspended in a thread .
Nobody has a clue when the thread breaks.
Everything is ephemeral.
Be a man who lived for few years but never hit anyone on their stomach.
Be a man who loved your life , who made others happy .
