Tonight I have a tale to tell
Of a dream I got this morning;
23rd of May 2021 around 10AM;
Some details I could hardly remember
Yet etched on my mind is a heavenly scene—
Hundreds of angels encompassed me;
All dressed in white robes with golden belt;
All of them have wings and bright with light;
They gathered to me like grand protection;
I will never forget this precious memory—
Just one of my dreams that left me in awe.

At whatever point I close my eyes and endeavor to feel myself,
All that I can hear is consistent echoes of your name in my psyche,
Also, all that I can feel is the reliable longing for the duskiness.

Strange, something inanimate could have such lasting impact on me.
On my gloomy days they are my only ray of hope.
When all seems lost they give me hope.
On those day when I go on with the monotonic movements of life,
Wanting nothing but to left alone,
They remain as my loyal companions,
Demanding nothing but giving everything.
When I think there is nothing left in me to feel anything,
They made me weep,smile and at times even angered me.
Some of those words are even etched into my heart,
Making me what I am for I don't know what I am until I read.
As tears roll down my cheeks, I smile feeling indebted to those books that still splashes hopes of varying shades in my life.
For I don't know what I would do without those books that hold me sanity.
Books are my saviours,my friends,my love and at times my enemy, for nothing renders me useless like a good book.
Words etched on paper maybe called books however anything etched in gold wouldn't be worth so much as these books...

She was just a little girl playing in the sun
she played with pebbles and still had fun;
Watching her dad work on his bike
she decided to do something he’d like,
So she sneaked around to the other side
while he washed his beloved motor ride;
She scratched her love on the metal
but that caused her father to unsettle,
He jerked her hands hard and rough
to break her lil arm that was enough;
As she cried in pain so deep and bad
he saw the etching “ i love you dad…”
