How did we get here?
I ask myself
Looking from where we started
Damn, look way over there
Across all these clouds, twas so sunny
Life I thought was fair.
My lover, my best friend, my sweet cuddly bear.
....
How did we get here?
Maybe... If we hold on to each other, We'd feel warm again.
We'd see the sun again
We'd love each other again.

Hurt
I don't even know where to start, but this really hurts my heart, my life feels like it's falling apart, and I don't understand why....why me? do I deserve this? are you punishing me God?

How someone who love you could see you in pain? How someone who love you could do things that hurt you the most? How someone who love you could be dishonest with you? How could they forget everything you did for them? How could they give you the cold shoulder?

Why is there so much sadness
Buried deep in those brown eyes?
You've tasted the bitter sweetness
From all of those broken lies
You sought out a love that would last
But then it disappeared so fast
What has happened to us?
The thrill of love is gone
Those guilty passions of lust
Done you nothing but wrong
What are you and I to do?
They lie by saying, "I love you."
When your world comes
Tumbling down
Sell me dreams of glitter and gold
Of how we'll live richly together
You bought in and were sold
Now you find it didn't last forever
Those unfulfilled promises you make
Cause disappointment and heartache
The pain comes in so swift
Why has it gone horribly wrong?
The heartaches a parting gift
I thought you knew all along
What are you and I to do?
They said, "I'd be there for you."
When your world comes

We all will, its the law.
It's what we were designed to do.
We have to face it and accept it,
And try to hold it together,
For as long as we can.

Do you even know how my heart aches
Thinking of all the times that we could have spent together ,
Conversing
Knowing each other
Building " us "
That we spent arguing and misunderstanding each other
Had we done the former , my love
We would not be standing on the edge of falling apart
Separating from each other's vices and virtues
From all those small moments that were the most cherished
But now just seem to be holding the
Frail threads of "us" together
Like when you would slip your hand into mine
Entangling our fingers
Or that time when in the evening
You would look at the setting sun and
I , at the breathtaking mural of undiminishing simplicity and beauty
But can't we give it one more chance ?
Can't we give "us" a little respite from this separation .......

I Tried
I Tried.
How many times have you heard that before?
Do you know how many times I have secretly cried?
Do you know how many times I fell to my knees on the floor?
Do you know how many times my heart has ached straight to the core?
This is not some folklore,
It is real and you just keep making me hurt more.
I Tried.
They just wouldn't stop clawing at my insides,
They just wouldn't stop until I seemed alive only on the outside,
Until I knew for a fact it was by their rules I would abide by,
Until I got immune to the pain so I could no longer cry,
Until I understood that I was alive but I had already died.
I Tried.
There are no scars for happiness, but for pain,
There is no point for trying if it all goes in vain,
There is no point in speaking if they won't hear what you're saying,
There is no point in Sunshine if all I feel is rain.
So I have tried and tried.
"It will soon get better" - And you have lied and lied.
