किसान कि भी क्या दुविधा है,
उसको पता है कि उसके छत से पानी टपकता है,
फिर भी उसकी बारिश होने की दुआं है!!
किसान कि भी क्या दुविधा है,
की अन्न उत्पादन कर लोगों का पेट भरता है,
फिर भी कोई उसके दुखों को नहीं समझते है!!
किसान कि भी क्या दुविधा है,
कभी प्रकृति का प्रकोप उस पर टूट पड़ता है,
तो कभी सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित सस्ता दाम!!
किसान कि भी क्या दुविधा है,
की लोगों के हित के लिए अन्न उगाता है,
फिर भी वे ही फांसी पर लटकने को मजबूर होता है!!

The Farakka story in brief
Farrakka barrage was built on the river Ganga in 1975 at Farakka near Murshidabad to make our lives easier. On the contrary, over the decades the dam has emerged as hell for thousands of people and animals dependent on Ganga. It is blamed for devastating floods in the upstream Bihar and for increased salination downstream near Sundarbans due to reduced freshwater, leading to crop loss in West Bengal and neighbouring Bangladesh. Hilsa (ilish), the much loved fish, lives in ocean but swims upstream along Ganga to breed. Earlier found till Allahabad (Prayagraj), Farrakka barrage has restricted its upstream movement and messed up its ecology. In short, Farrakka barrage is but a huge concrete mass of environmental, social, cultural, political, and economic trouble.
All this and we still barge ahead to build more dams
..

गंगा तो फिर भी मैली ठहरी,
गाद कहाँ रोकी जाए रे,
हर ठौर ठेलती इठलाती थी,
अब हर रोके तबाही मचाये रे।
तरकारी सूखी, झोल भी फीका,
जाला खाली, सुस्त है नौका,
मुर्शिदाबाद पार अब,
इलिश कहा आये रे।
यहाँ बस्ती कटती, गांव सैलाबी,
वहाँ घूट घूट में खारा पानी,
फसल भी घुट घुट जाये रे,
मुआवजों पीछे गई जवानी, हाय रे!
गंगा तोरी मैली ठहरी,
गाद भरी क्या तेरी सोच भी रे?
और कितनी नदियाँ कतरनी बाकी रे,
अब और कितने फरक्का बाकी रे?

Where i sow seeds and they bloom.
Waking up early everyday i plough the soil
I drench in sweat as my blood starts to boil.
I spray Fungicides on baby fruits everyday
My hands, feet and nails turn gray with clay.
I work honest and hard all long day
With a hope that tomorrow it will pay.
From early mornings to afternoon hot light
To feed world i work hard till late night.
My life is so hard yet so simple
I don't care if i get a pimple.
In my eyes there's agony, anger and pain
When i wish for clouds but it doesn't rain.
Finally when i start to harvest the crops
Everyday rate of grains, vegetables and fruits drops.
Govt and people play with my trust
Despite having huge burden they charge me with interest.
Bills passed against me, only fake promises by rulers
Here each and everything happens against farmers.

Standing in the burning sun
Nothing to gain, lot to lose
Laughing about and making fun?
No rain provided grain!
Hurting back with lot of pain.
Accept us back, where you are?
"Wealth of country is about to drain!"
Home is far thus roaming aside,
No shed head, no place to hide.
Boundaries have they put so far,
Voice is louder than you are.
Standing whether storm or rain,
Because! "Wealth of country is about to drain!"
Innocent lives got lost inspite, no 'peace' I see
I am glad with sufficience and let us! "only plea".
"If I die no food supply" no great concern,
Sat in hope of justice and of happy return.
But fear of dying has totally 'slain',
Because! "Wealth of country is about to drain!"

इंसानियत से परे धरम और समाज की
देश से ऊपर जहां राजनीति होती हिन्दू मुसलमान की
धरम के नाम पर पत्थर के सम्मान की
वर्ण वयवस्था के नाम पर इंसानियत के अपमान की
धरम के नाम पर भगवान पर अधिकार की
कहे जो अलाह तुम्हारा है ऐसे अनपढ़ ग्वार की
धरम को रहे ख़तरा यहां,जहां उठती रोज़ तलवार है
मंदिर प्रवेश है वंचित उसका,क्यूंकि मूर्तिकार नीची जात है
धरम की करे राजनीति जो ऐसी अब की सरकार है
जिस हाथों में देश दिया तुमने वो एक तो ग्वार है
और ऊपर से कच्छाधार है
आग सेक लो थोड़ी आग सेक लो जातिवाद जो सिखाए
ऐसी किताब फेंक दो
इस आग के कोयले से 'जय भीम' ऊलेख दो
नहीं तो आजाओ मेरे साथ और ये विनाश देख लो

राम- मैं सिर्फ एक राजा था मुझे तो दुनिया ने बनाया भगवान
इस गंदे समाज के कारण मुझे मांगना पड़ा सीता से प्रमाण
औरत तो रामायण में महाभारत में हर युग में की गई है बदनाम
अब तो कलयुग है लंकेश जहां पापों को नहीं कर सकता बयान
हर तरफ है हवस के दरिंदे,
नोच खाते है जो जिस्म और जान
मैं तो होता हूं हर पल हैरान,
तुम्हे तो बस वहम था के तुमसे बड़ा ना कोई शैतान
रावण- हां मेरी भी गलती थी जिसने अपहरण किया तुम्हारा मान
पर एक औरत की नाक काटना भी नहीं होता वीरता का प्रमाण
मैं शैतान ही अच्छा था जिसने बहन के लिए गवाई अपनी जान
सीता तुम्हारा अभिमान थी तो सरूपनखा भी थी मेरा सम्मान....
