त्योहारों के मौसम थे,
दिवाली की शाम थी।
चारों ओर रोशनी भरी हुई थी,
हर कोई शाही टुकड़ा ख़ोज रहा।
और मैं इस कश्मकश में गुम थी,
क्या घर ले जाऊं सुकून आ जाएं।
बहुत खुशियाँ बहुत जगमगाहट थी,
फ़िर मेरी रोशनी क्यों शून्य थी।
क्यों न ये काम करूं,
उन रोशनी ललक खुद में भर लूं।

LIGHTS
When we encounter darkness, it's her , who lights up the way. When we are almost accepting the defeat, it's her warm hand that acts like a supporting structure, and we bounce back crawling all those barriers. She is the one who would give hope to those humbled and hunger potters, who look up all the way for this bright festival. When all these are her characteristics, why to put her off and celebrate with noisy monsters, that give no one joy and happiness.
