Stranger
Dear stranger, I hope you remember that once how
close friends we were,
We would share every little secrets.
We would talk for hours,
And laugh at each other's silly jokes.
I hope you remember our favourite place,
Where we both used to go whenever we felt low.
I hope you remember how tight you held my hand,
When you got nervous.
I hope you remember how you used to wipe my tears away, How I used to remind you about your important things. How we both used to go for evening walks and ended up having our favourite street food and an ice-cream together, And how perfectly we enjoyed each other's company.
You loved my smile, I loved your cheeks,
You loved my eyes, I loved your hairs,
You loved my childlessness, I loved your maturity, I hope you remember how you loved me, and how I loved you.
And now when I see you changing, My heart screams for you.
My eyes want last glimpse of you,
And my mind just wanna yell your name.
But today, when things aren't the same,
all the forever promises we made faded away.
When we started distancing each other, When we gave more importance to other's than our friendship, and we really lost each other.
Slowly, we were no more those close friends, But just a stranger, who still have a special place in each other's heart.
