INCOMPARABLE
Ya Allah nothing in Your creation can be compared onto You. Great is your Majesty. So great is Your Majesty, it has even reached my pen.
You decreed past, present, and future. You knew what I was going to write before I wrote it. You knew this fifty thousand years before the creation of the heaven and earth.
Ya Ar-Rahmaan You are The First and The last. My mind cannot think past its limit without Your permission. My feeble attempts to comprehend Who You are useless.
Ya Ar-Raheem, I am content being one of Your favored creations. However, I am not pleased with my level of submission to You. Nevertheless, You are my Lord and I am Your servant.

DRIFTER
Time passes over me like a blanket slowly being pulled off my body during a wild night of sleep.
Being uncovered exposes my nakedness quite similar to grey hairs--They expose age, in most instances.
My life is laid bare then. Just as it is laid bare in bed with no blanket to cover me. There's not much to do but grasp for it when the coldness creeps in.
The same coldness I hear about when death approaches the soul that's meant to transcend. And similarly, the soul cling to life the same way I would cling to the blanket trying to cover my nakedness. But sometimes is just too late.

MOMENT IN TIME
Racing thoughts compete with my emotions, they will to victory but stumble at the finishline. My emotions are triumphant.
Scattered clouds filled with my tears suddenly appear. The torrent of pain is too much for the earth and its inhabitants to bear. So they, like me, look on in horror.
The natural mystique that nature provides is satisfying. My eyes are never full. My heart is beyond empty of pride, empty of trying. Sin has overwhelmed my efforts.
Toil is generational, and as the many flesh and bones come and go, to and fro, all they did was chasing after the wind. It's a shame we chase after trivial things. Temporal things. Things so fragile. Things that last only a moment in time.
