Why So Soon
As the days pass
It's getting difficult to choose
Whether solitude is what I crave
Do I really want to lose
The affections of everyone I love
I feel frozen in time
Where everyone is leading
I can see their backs
Without them realising
Things are changing faster than ever
I can't keep up the pace
I think it's more peaceful here
To not be in the race
I failed to mature when everyone else did
I remained the same child we were few years back
But then adulthood hit everyone
And I couldn't keep track
I didn't want to grow up so soon
I want to go back
When others were immatured as I am
And live those days once more
This time more aware
Of how important they were
I feel like running away
Where no one would know me
No one would bother
I wouldn't be a burden anymore
To anyone closer
Wish I had the strength to accept solitude
Not run away from it after every few days
In search of those immatured people
I once knew.

People tell me I'm 22
But I refuse to believe
I'm still in that stage of adulting
Where everything seems new yet familiar
I'm still at that stage of knowing myself
Where my old self seems unreal
I'm setting up new goals
Trying new hobbies
I'm trying to figure out what I want
But I guess I'm a little late in the process
I see my peers progressing with life
May be it's just a little difference
That I'm lacking behind
At a slow pace, someday
I will feel like a grownup
But now, I'm still 18
Not the number but the nature!

Growing Up Too Fast
Just yesterday I swung on a swing, imagining, fantasizing about what my future would bring.
I wasn't ready to be a woman, I wasn't ready for sin.
Take me back to when all of this began.
Where we play in the backyard and build sand castles, before my world was filled with turmoil and hassles.
Take me back to bed time stories and goodnight kisses, wishing upon a star, and wearing cute dresses.
Find me and take me home.
I wasn't ready for this world, I wasn't ready to feel alone⭐

Lots of rubicons to cross.
Independence no longer give much solace as it has come mean having no one to blame for your choices.
We can't unlearn now.

Stay fit (the to-do list/proper adulting)
1.Do household chores...Whatever possible like.. Washing your own clothes.
Cleaning table.
Brooming, help in cooking, when time.
2.Go for a walk..on alternate days or shopping.
3. Do Yoga and pranayam..Daily or alternate days.
4. Do pending works like keeping dresses properly, stitch or mend the old ones...And keep new ones aside. Don't buy too many useless clothes. Use the old ones first.
5. Take only one nap in daytime. Don't sleep too much in daytime.
6.Decorate, maintain or clean house ..Remove dust..arrange things into place.
7. Talk to people. Go out. Communicate with people you admire truly. And love and respect the people you trust upon.
8. Plan things beforehand. Study if exams coming.
9. Take care of your old parents. If you r adult. ..It's your turn to take care of their health as if they r babies. And parent them well. With time old ppl do become childish. Still forgive them, and help them in health and work.
10. Learn new things...And be happy. That's it for now.

Sometimes I wonder how would life be if I bump my head real hard on a pillar?
That way, I would suffer partial amnesia.
Forgetting all the painful memories, I could start afresh.
