I RECALL my initial works
when challenges were host
how I used to gather
rhyming words to be sewed
alongwith the crafted verses
and weaved together to fit
the challenge.
I am not good at tailoring words
but had to measure verses with
the syllable count,
sometimes with number of words
on each line and sometimes one poem
from the given choice of lines.
There are many masters here
who have a vast experience in counts,
grammar, spelling while there are
some who are masters in sewing
with high level of vocabulary which
could be understood only with
reference to dictionary.
Having said this, though not a tailor
of stitching words but could manage
by learning with the perks of
appreciation, motivation and
encouragement from the masters.
I love to attempt challenges
so participate in daily word of the day
to improve my art of cutting, measuring,
weaving with simplicity.

Picnic
I recall the memories
Of that 'Unexpected picnic'
Brings joy on my face
And smile like no one else
I knew, It would end late
And my parents won't let
Me go out in noon
And come back midnight
Teacher asked for names
For final list she have to prepare
And today's last day
And it left nothing for us to say
Me and my friends
Made a last minute plan
With hands in our hand
Took out phone and called home
It was a miracle
Or God granted us our last wish
But all said yes
You may go.... It wasn't childish
We all were surprised
We can't sleep all night
Planned the things to pack
In morning we were ready with our bag pack
We had so much fun
Together
And made the memories
We will remember
Forever!

When I recall a few years ago
I remember
the lessons
the patience
the trust
the endurance
the hardships
the laughter
the love
not much has changed since then
I think I just feel it deeper now
it feels like there is no end to the challenges
but still try
I think I have learned to draw close to those who are sincere
cause the fake ones were revealed without me asking
I still recall and I will always remember what it felt like to innocently embrace every chapter even when it pained me
There must be a reason for it all some said
While I don't see the reason yet
But I never doubt the plan
When I recall where I was
It is just grace

That one caliginous night
I forgot to lock my door...
The wind broke in and storm stole everything,
My house destroyed,
Bereft of everything.
I recall,
The early sunrays seeping in
Peacefully illuminating the horrors of yesterday...
Tsunami of emotions took over me,
My once familiar place,
Was rotting away in liquid.
I recall,
My journeys of ages ago
When I was still young and foolish...
Thinking something had survived,
When nothing was left,
In the void nature created.
I recall,
My nights stained with tears
When I hated on every mortal thing...
But I had to be strong,
For myself at least,
And how much I hated that helpless feeling.
I recall,
That one crazy incident
Which took away everything so abruptly...
When everything was lost,
And nothing found,
