The other day, I stumbled onto 'Love',
It looked me in the eye,
With its eyes so deep, dark ,mysterious;
Swooning me , hypnotizing me , captivating me.
I evidently gazed back.
As love slowly crawled into me,
Piercing my chest,
Running through my vessels,
corroding and eroding every barrier ;
Making its way to my entire entity,
Benumbing my wits,
And then carefully ripping my heart in bits.
All through this I kept staring with adulation.
In a trice,
Blood started gushing out, my breath had started fading,
Aah the pain!
Aah the pleasure!
It was then that I grasped,
' Love' had me trapped.
Too late, I smiled feebly;
Dazed but transfixed, slowly gave out a sigh
and looked on with my half open eyes
As it steadily devoured me.
I could never shift my gaze.

And eventually make you drown in its depth

In this world of fakeness,
She built her kalopsia
Finding cheer in petty things,
Set her free to fly without wings!
In this world of lies,
Instead of feeling denied
She learned to enjoy kalopsia,
Even when times were harder!
In this world of inhumane,
She felt more dejected
But kalosiaic world,
Never let her hurled!

Kalopsia
Narcissus stared into his pond.
His golden curls framing his face.
His wide eyes and Roman nose staring back.
His mouth, full and soft.
His cheek bones, high and aristocratic.
His shoulders, wide and square.
His hands, long and slender.
The more he looked,
The more amazed he became.
And then suddenly,
As he looked into his reflection,
His curls were limp.
His eyes were small.
His nose pointed the wrong way.
His lips looked chapped.
His cheeks looked hollow.
His shoulders slumped
His hands, boney.
He was so startled he fell into the pond.
As Narcissus breathed his last breath,
He realized his greatest transgression
was not narcissism. It was kalopsia.

When a person is a kid, everything seems so beautiful and easy going. Family, friends and relations seems so simple.
As we grow up, we realize that everything is so "kalopsiatic". Everything seems "fake" and "complex".

Love ought to be constant
Love is beautiful and kind
Love embraces you in a thick cloud of euphoria that leaves you afloat and powerful
Love is peaceful, love is love
At least that's what my therapist says
I think not of love
I think only of suffocating punches, raised voices, and Clashes over our "undying" love
I think of the thin line between love and hate
And how this Kalopsia has become my near death experience...
Time heals all bruises
At least that's what my therapist says
But these scars in my soul will always be a constant of your tazmanian home.
