With the enlivening petals waiting for sunshine
Spreading the message of peace and love

Your heart is ذو هيبة (prestigious) as delicate as the words of this poem meant for thee and thy soul.
You are a that doesn’t break a heart but protects it,
You are a of pen that writes pearls buried in heart,
You are a of Zam Zam of the pious and precious wells and only a saint relishes it, not wrongdoers.
If there is curfew, the Shikaras of Jhelum will take this poem to you as each droplet in the river knows the essence and fragrance of you. Gentle breeze blowing along the Jhelum Bund will take it to the porch of your abode. Just wait…

The Half-Letter
Some beckons kept staring the skies, in the arrival of monsoon
The blaze, approached the extremes of patience and time
A thousands years, together we lived the buried lanes
Never to know, we would be caged in their
reminiscence
Breathing the confined airs, I remained an untied bird
Never to know, the freedom itself would cage me
A flower in vase, I blossomed a thousand years ago
Anew, I unfolded to the garden I belong ; Wadi-e-Kashmir
Was I unaware or happiness masked itself in the glass of wine
When I can't tell where is delight, or demarcate dejection
The belief we fostered once, drowned in the ocean of tears
Only to be returned by the bedouin of the entombed desert
Rekindling life anew in the deserted cities of gray love
Half- hope, Half-promise; Half-way, I decamped _ A Half-letter
