That Unforgettable Beauty
She leans into the breeze;
Her hair and sunshine and water lilies intertwined-
Dragonflies scatter as the tide arrived
Corduroy and coffee stains, cobblestone and lace
Gather up the bluebells, tie them in a vase
High heels upon my wooden floors,
Beeswax candles alight the store.
That unforgettable beauty is a moonlit lake,
That unforgettable beauty is a flowing gown
Beauty round the cliffs when you look down,
Whitecaps break and lost lovers ache
Unforgettable beauty when the ivy grows round your window,
Kittens crawling and splashing minnows
Forlorn shopfronts with love in their wood,
Strings of gold and pine green hoods.
She flies on a dream of freedom and flowers,
Tea at noon and leaning towers
Long beige grass sways round her head
She laughs at field mice she's just fed
Barefooted beauties, undisputed duties.
May your days be merry,
Pray you live on the prairie
As words whirl under a sea of sunset,
She dances round paintbrush and palette
Lanterns and butterflies, true love never dies.
That unforgettable beauty is in her eyes,
It's a fading dress and a final step
A lost secret in spider webs
Unforgettable beauty is the sea as it roars,
The beauty lies within your heart's door.

I can hardly find anything that used to lack,
All tears, all happiness and all fun,
But we never used to pun,
Today even after we have all that,
There is still some difference as small as between a cap and a hat,

From our beautiful memory pack,
Maybe, maybe that same class,
Which always had population in Mass,
Maybe, maybe that uniform,
Because wearing it was the schooling norm,
Maybe, maybe those collection of tiffins,
Or targeting the trash towards the bins,
Maybe, maybe the journey from classroom to washroom,
Or that last day gloom,
I really can't think of what we lack ?
From our beautiful memory pack.
Maybe, maybe the bunch of friends,
With whom the memoy starts and without whom the memories ends,
Maybe, maybe that stage where we used to perform,
Missing the feeling of that platform,
Maybe, maybe those lobbies where we used to roam,
Or those birthdays when we used to spray the foam,
Maybe, maybe our teachers,
With whom we learnt all government features,
I really can't think of what we lack?
From our beautiful memory pack,
But all I know now,
Is Wondering me with a question, like how?
How I am standing at the same place,
Recollecting my memories lace by lace,
How I am talking about my past days,
Which here used to be my present days?
How I am talking about my school in just one go,
Where my legs used to shiver even if I didn't stood on one toe,
This reminds me of something that was penned,
That is from where you start, there you end,
Just like cutting of an apple with a knife,
This is the cycle of life.

And they eat weird things,
Like grains of rice
Sometimes they go to a place which is the one I don't understand at all
It's called "toilet" they have little rooms and doors inside?
They do something wrong and say "it's human nature"
Smile now I wanna take a picture,

Lavender and Lace
Standing in lacey undergarments
She stared into her closet.
Looking for something charming.
Though the patter of rain tried to dissuade her
Making her find something more apposite.
Three of the four seasons were rain,
She should be more prepared.
She looked down at her toes and remembered the bloodstain.
A hint of a smile played at her lips
She thought she would have been scared.
Last night was magical
She always dreamed it would be.
He treated her so valuable.
Remembering his touch made her flesh prickle.
He’d whispered, “Darling, yer everything ta me.”
She fingered a white dress
But thought better not.
Instead she pulled down her lavender dress
And slipped it over her figure.
Covering a bite mark she almost forgot.
“Some tea, dear?” called a voice from below.
She turned from side to side in a mirror.
Looking into her own eyes, the tears began to flow.
“Bollocks,” she said to herself, wiping them all away.
She went downstairs for some tea before dinner.
