Here, in this poem, I ask my little Godha to come crawl in my lap and make me feel blissful and alive. �� Oh the Most Compassionate Mother, come to me and stay with me! Her face is purely Anandmayi (Blissful), and it gives me immense joy. I get joyful watching her little hands and feet ready to embrace me and the little smile curled on her lotus like Face. Her complexion is Greenish ����❤
I wish ShriGodha comes to me and sits on my lap soon and embrace me. So, that the world sees her Infinite Compassion, that she the loving mother, embraces even her most sinning children like me! When she, the shining green pearl will sit on my lap, we'll look together as the rusty oyester holding an exquisite pearl! While I am a sinner faded as an oyester, she would be my only source of beauty (bliss) when I hold her. Just compare a pearl sitting in a rusty oyester and then me holding ShriGodha in my lap ���� And bow down to her compassion and forbearance!
Therefore I wish, the Lotus feet of the compassionate Mother live forever in My Heart without any obstacles! ❤

It was inspired by a line by Roger Waters, "You shout and no one seems to hear."
This line reminded me of the Draft Environmental Impact Assessment which was proposed in March 2020. It dilutes the voices of the people who may get adversely affected by developmental projects by scrapping public hearings.
An Environmental Impact Assessment ( EIA ) is basically a process of evaluating environmental impacts of a proposed project. Under the Draft EIA 2020, if there is local resistance to polluting industries, their voices will not matter. The impacts such industries can have one the people are:
1. Nearby water bodies get polluted and people will lose access to clean drinking water
2. If the soil is polluted, the crops farmers sow won't grow.
3. Some pollutants can seriously affect the human health in the area, etc

Environmental Impact Assessment ( EIA ) is a process of evaluating environmental impacts of a proposed project taking into account inter-related socio-economic, cultural and human-health impacts. Draft EIA 2020 by Government of India proposes to legitimize actions currently listed as violations, dilutes rules by expanding list of projects exempted from public consultation & does not prescribe a robust post environment clearance monitoring system. Besides giving a lot of discretionary powers to govt authorities, Draft EIA 2020 is heavily loaded in favour of industries allowing polluting industries to pollute more and causing immense harm to nature. Under the new draft EIA, industries set to benefit from no public consulting are chemical fertilizers, pesticides, petroleum product plants & many more. If there is local resistance to these polluting industries, their voices will not matter. Removing public consultation spells disaster as it is a must for any environment clearance process.
The government has called for objections. Please share this petition link widely urging people in your networks to sign. All our local environment and forest battles will fall flat if the EIA is manipulated. We all have to work together to stop this Draft from becoming a Notification.
So please, PLEASE go to the link in my bio and click on it and send a mail to the Environment Ministry and share this as much as possible.
