The longer it lingers the stiffer it gets
As you seek relief by diverting it on others
It boomerangs back in leaps and bounds
Others return your favor by retaliating in kind
Only to leave you miffed and more enraged
It further festers within you as time goes on
And soon multiplies as ego eggs it on n on
Your Little self obscures innate goodness
As life gets trapped in neverending mess
Its high time you realize what you're suffering
And address its source to initiate self healing
Pain is actually transformation in disguise
Waiting for you to let go of inner malaise
Paves way to evolving your better self
Once you're clear on your future self
So, why choose to writhe in miserable pain
When you know its futile to suffer in vain
Don't wait till it becomes unbearable
Act with zeal when symptoms are feeble
Seek help to figure out negative triggers
Restrain yourself from controlling others
Channelize your focus on source of pain
That's home to many a negative pattern
Root out causes to which you're conditioned
Restore your calm and precious peace of mind
You've all good things waiting in store
Once you see how opportunities galore
Lo, behold your bright future ahead
Just be disciplined to be rewarded

Entitlement — Endless Wait?
We often put strenuous efforts
Expect evenly rewarding outcomes
Believing that we're perfectly entitled
To what we think is fairly expected
Alas, it sometimes doesn't work
Apparently due to fate's dirty quirk
We then smirk and grimace our pain
Feeling bad that our efforts are in vain
As we struggle to manage our emotions,
We look for the worst possible excuses
Camouflage them as reasons which failed us
Nevertheless, slip between cup and lip occurs
Lo! The game of blaming starts now
As we look for quick scapegoats anew
And things begin to get gradually worse as we fret
Without knowing the truth that makes us feel hurt
While we are fixated on cutting all corners
without bothering about the adverse effects
We assume that system would reciprocate
Without understanding cause and effect
And as we dither, things naturally go awry
Leaving us feeling miserable with us in fury
Actually unraveling the truth that really matters
Gets us to figure out what leaves us in tatters
Its our mistaken belief that results follow efforts
As we Ignore that focus on process shapes results

It's the hour when ghosts, witches and demons

Indoctrination — Why do we resist change?
"Identify your problems, but give your power and energy to solutions" — Tony Robbins
We all get conditioned as we grow up.
This conditioning includes:
Beliefs ingrained through repetitive injunctions as well as personal experiences
Behaviors cultivated through habits stemming from the ingrained beliefs
Boundaries imposed by self as well as external influences circumventing comfort zones taking shape from long term habits.
These are in addition to religious rituals taught to us all.
Conditioning resulting from several such sources induces scarcity mindset leading to perceiving a change in prevailing situation as "loss" or a threat to life at worst.
While it takes time to get reconciled to change as a continuum in the perpetual journey of life, the short term "upset" that status quo bias creates can have significant impact on one's life.
This could sort of aggravate old festering wounds with the concomitant ripple effect of reaching a point of no return sooner or later.
An unintended side effect of the ripple effect could be a sense of rigidity getting "hardened" in the relationships, while pointing blaming fingers at each other as we get entangled in exchanging passing the buck situations.
While wisdom warrants us to be empathetic, we prefer to look the other way, drawing comfort from the short term gains accomplished through false sense of security influenced by our ego.
This false sense of comfort arising from the cumulative indoctrinations antagonizes us to change.
So, we turn blind eye to our problems and prefer to live with them rather than dealing with them.
This in turn blocks our energy in recognising them as problems and preempts finding solutions.
Tony's quote mentioned at the beginning points to this anomaly.
It strives to highlight what our real priority should be, in order to make progress in life!6 0

Unprepared
My life experiments have taught me that, the unprepared exams can be passed with flying colors but the over taught ones will always fail. So as a fellow overthinker my conclusion is to face the unexpected head on, because you cannot possibly screw up the unprepared exams.
