We often take the guilt and burden for fixing people when it is not our responsibility. In this case, if we give too much importance to other people's thoughts and feelings, we may get into trouble. When we do hurt someone or make a mistake, it is only sensible to apologize. But what if you may be apologizing even if you aren't feeling like you're responsible, but rather than deal with your loneliness, you'd instead express regret and avoid isolation.
Never be apologetic for being yourself. People throughout the globe each have various qualities, and everyone is unique in their way. You should never appear to be someone else. You should always be yourself. People will accept you for who you are and support your goals and ambitions if you live your dreams, are true to yourself, and pursue your goals and desires without hesitation.
The implication is that if you change yourself to meet the expectations of others, you are effectively admitting that your perception of yourself is flawed and that others recognize you better than you do. An essential part of creating good relationships is connecting with individuals similar to you on numerous levels. This connection brings you, two individuals, much closer together, making you see each other in a much more straightforward way.
Lastly, you cannot make someone like you, no matter how hard you try. It doesn't matter how hard you try to change for them, because when you do, you will dislike yourself.
