You gifted my tastebuds,
a brand-new luxury of sweetness,
that they have never had.
Falling into you felt so familiar and new .
I felt like retracing steps back to myself.
The moment you touched my neck,
I wanted to drag you closer,
but the cruel dream had already
pushed me on
to the other side of
the delicate separating line.
Waking up into a reality without you,
I was pumped up in roses and reds,
like the moist rose petals.
I could still feel your lingering fragrance,
and your leftover flavour
to seal the moment.
I am confused,
should I seal you into another wagon of memory
or into another wagon of dream?
I am sure it wasn’t just a dream,
that was my quantum leap onto the other reality,
where we are always together,
where I always have you in my aura,
where your kisses made my every day and every night.
A reality I wish for here-in this very moment,
on this cold winter day.
