Fallen From Grace
Right in the crosshairs
Of a poet's eye
The visual ensnares a fall
From grace
The sillheoutte of Icarus burned into the
Summer's shifting solar winds and the blinding sky
Eclipsed by the explosive imagery
Depicting the shadow of Icarus
a fall
From the grace of the ground
Into the unforgiving skies
The silence that follows revelations in heat
Famines and outbreaks of disease
Ingestions, infections, and fleas
Manifest themselves in violence and aromas chasing like a river of blood from a wound as it bleeds into itself and itself into sleep
Defiant of the obtainable
Only reaching from the penetrance of the ground
Digging through trenches of ancient texts
Ripping sheets like a pearl or a glass
Until now breaks into a split
And time expands itself like a taste from a nightmare that can move
Like a colossal war machine on the horizon
Each step breaks the earth
Every metaphysical slip is present in any and every dimension of the indefensible experience
We cannot separate ourselves from it
We can not decorate the ground in blood
And step away hoping life could somehow grow from it
The dreams as well as what you fear
Cannot be trusted
Like a rage that could expel you from the skies
After the first piece of humanity is recovered
After this page has been dusted
Only then, can we understand why
Everything we know, feel, and understand
Must somehow be as important now as it is
And as it will be when it all inevitably
And explicitly dies
Somewhere in the meridian the truth lies
The melody of a song's wings
Carrying a new lullaby from a desert's spring
And from it, glimmering a new life

Battlefield In My Dome
Music is the only thing that seems to move me
To soothe me
To captivate my breath in the drum snare of a rhythm
Between each beam of melody from which nothing could remove me
I'm introverted and I'm self tuning
Into bliss and wisps from the drops of nectar
Which it drew me alluding that I was made of music and music makes me feel
To strengthen me and renew me
To deepen the blues of my sea
My battle is what made me almost lose me
But like a boat into war I'm incessant and moving
Ensuing with this movement
This war is fought not in vain but it's reason
Is unmoving at times without the splash of a harmony
I want to live my life like a song lives on in the melody
Endlessly
I always wanted to make it like a movie
Without the flashing lights
Intimately in the imperfect glow of a world as it opens it's imperfect eyes
And I splash water into my face
I don't think
I feel my heart beat and it's pace

I touch a sunset and it’s warmth
Freezes as it is my still memory
Washed out in cool tones
Indistinct and undefined
Can I find my home?
I call out of the conch it echoes as my home is hollowed

I’ve always wandered the shadows of thought all alone
These words comfort me because without these pages to translate my soul they can be there so at least you can if you want to find this one place

I write so my thoughts don’t scare me with unfamiliar concepts
I don’t want the truth to haunt my morning depth
Coffee cakes and daisy’s midnight breath
In between wires sparking my steps
It’s not going to be of value if it doesn’t resonate in your head as something you can understand and it’s just like I’m stressed

I’ve seen dark days
I must confess I pray at the feet of my passion and love to see these things livened with ink and my thoughts that dance like flames behind my eyes

What do I, know about Love
The cold breeze by the shore, fluttering her sundress,
caressing her wild curls in the air.
The sun kissed her goodbye,
before dunking into the horizon,
making a silent promise to come again tomorrow by the dawn,
making her cheeks pink and her eyes smile.
Like this was how they made their pinky promise each day.
An emotion so strong beyond words, the faith to let go and wait to return, the faith in his return, the faith in her wait.
Charmed by the keeper colors, wondered I, 'Is this what Love looks like ?'
May be it is or may be not, for what do I know about Love.
"Its not all roses and kisses", whispered Apollo*.
Says He, there'll be days, they won't meet , when the dark clouds glooms over the skies.
Sometimes he'll go behind the fluff playing hide,
Sometimes her sad face doesn't want to wake up to his ray of sunshine,
Sometimes it's just a bad day, so just take a raincheck!
Not everything is black and white, it's the grey times testing your waters.
You see, the beauty blooms when the Greys are embraced, because as rightly said,
'Even with all your freckles, I'll still love you.
Even with all your goofs, I still want to keep our promises.
Even with all Greys I'll still come back and kiss you, for it is the Faith that runs the course.
Forgive me, for I'll mess up and so do I when you do.'
Hooking our pinkies we vowed,
"I'll come for the morning kiss in your waiting arms by the dawn, for I need to see your beautiful smile to start my day".
And that's my silent prayer as I kiss you each time,
for You are my forever agápi mou*.

Apprehension
Life, it seems so far from possible to complete
I've become so ill
Sacrificing any potential hope to fill the void
Everything's gone and I'm weak
Any motivation destroyed
Constantly having to compete and compare

The light in my eyes have gone bleak
But I've gotta feel the burning sensation to understand that life's still there,
