    The moment...the next..??

    The moment I feel okay.
The next I feel no, I am not...

The moment I feel I can do it.
The next I feel how should I....

The moment I feel everything will gonna be alright.
    The next I feel how?..

The moment I feel I am strong.
The next I feel not every time yarr...

The moment I feel "even sky is not the limit for me".
The next I feel till had just not crossed my rooms too...

The moment I feel I am quiet lucky.
The next I feel hopefully so...

The moment I feel I am genious.
The next I feel may be am wrong...

The moment I feel my future will rock.
The next I feel it not seems so...

The moment I feel I am done with my syllabus.
The next I feel may be not...

    The moment & the next
    Literally ....

    When recalling your favourite memories,
    You'll describe it yourself,
    Without any photograph.
    Live the moment, don't capture.

    LITTLE MOMENT

    After seing one book,
    Named Takadini book,
    Only a cover book,
    After I have look,
    The book I took.

    When reading that book,
    My hurt become shock,
    How Amai Takadini walk,
    Even how she talk,
    Death was just nock.

    How chapters were clock,
    Sometimes I became block,
    Chivero I have mark,
    In how you balk,
    You done good work.

    Moment
    frozen
    stillness
    Now
    Never
    Time
Moving clocks hesitate and entice the browning vegetation
Desperate encounters counted as moving fine sand
The attic creaks always and with all the suddenness of Bukowski’s motionless body
Moment is never in the state of plural, moments cannot add up only weigh down a troubled soul, you cannot stand on it as if on the shoulders of giants, it can only give you an obscure article in an outdated history book or an honorable mention on a flaking wall or poem

This prompt reminded me of the song 'These are a few of my favorite things' from the classic movie Sound of Music! And also set me to think of all the minute things that bring a smile on my face, which in routine I miss to notice. Thank you @miraquill for making me stop for a moment and reminisce.

    Little moments

    I love the breeze
    That blows from the west
It brings the fragrance of the beach
    And makes my hair sway!

    I love the starlit night
That I gaze from the terrace
    The twinkling little bulbs
    Take me in a trance!

    I love the rustling
    Of the autumn leaves
    The colour turning
    Burgundy from green!

    I love to see the
    Pigeon eggs hatch
    The loud constant chirping
    Inside the nest of thatch!

    I love to hear
    The trains going by
    To long long distances
    And also to places nigh

I love the sound of music
    The songs of the oldies
    And also the new rhythms
    Just any melodies

    I love to feel
    The first drops of rain
    The nostalgic petrichor
    Taking away all pain

    I love to hear
    A little baby babble
    And those tiny feet
    To see them wobble

I love to put make up
    And wear a new dress
    To just feel beautiful
    Especially when in stress

    I love the delicious
    Fragrance of mom's kitchen
    And I love to feel
    The warmth of woolen mittens

    I love this life
    With its tiny little joys
    They come in small packages
    Like a child's toys

    So look around neatly
    Oh you, my generous reader
    You may find happiness
And a life full of wonder!

    MOMENT

    Birth of new year
    Clock ticking
Everyone waiting to see it strike 12
to rejoice, ready to unpack new hopes
is a moment which gives goosebumps.

    That moment
    when results to be announced
    with head rotating
Body numb, and I get to know
    I have scored excellent
    gives goosebumps.

    That moment
when my writing skills is appreciated
by my Dad who otherwise felt
it was a waste of time
    I feel blessed.

    That moment of the year
    on the farewell day,
the feelings of the last few minutes
    with friends becomes a memory
    soon going to bid
    Goodbye with a hope to
    new beginning with new friends.

    Little things

    Beneath my feet, life lives.
0ver the ground, bugs scatter around
    Skies intertwine azure and cerulean
Vast verdant lush, growing wide and free
    Everywhere flowers bloom, and bud
Life, so simple, always finds a way
Do you see the rainbow by the hand of God?

    Unbroken dawn lend glorious lights,
Mama bakes holy cookies with delight,
    Sunday swirls summerly smiles,
    Crimson joy, I file.
    Promising, mesmerizing, blazing.
    I nestle cozy Sunday, soulful.

In the carefree laughter of a
    child.In the garden of freedom,

    #Moment No.2

I have to be in town
I got to do some shopping
So I get ready and put on my coat
    An' grab my house keys
Put my wallet in my pocket
Head out and lock the door
It's ten minutes to the hour
An' I don't want to be late
    I'm waiting for the bus
I put on my ear phones
An' sit on the old white bench
An' wait until I see a white bus
Grab my fifty cents and go~

After I wake up, I gotta stand up
My very first step I take is painful
The pain makes it hard to stand stable
Go to the bathroom and make coffee
I look in the mirror and see my ugly
I get washed up and get dressed up
Then it's time to put on my face
I grab my brushes and makeup case
Sit in the kitchen have an electric smoke
Think of how to get money, cos I'm broke
There no sunlight it's dark outside
Kinda how I'm feeling on the inside
Take my medication cos I'm crazy
It's makes me a little bit drowsy
I think of him then I start to pray
That this will be a good day
Cos I'm grateful to be alive
While I was sleeping, I was helpless
But I survived thru another night
I grab a cup ol' Joe, cause I'm lifeless
An start putting on my makeup
All the time this takes up
In front of the bathroom mirror
I wipe the dirt off of the mirror
    So I can see clearer
    Bring my face nearer
I try out another makeup trick
Fix my hair, last thing on is lipstick
Grab my cell phone an' I read the news
    In the morning that's how I do~

    Flying in my heart

    Moments of chuckles softly,
    Filling the spaces largely,
    Paradise walks reaches miles,
    Rewarded happiness slice,
    Building sculptures in sand,
    Makes claps for own hands,
    Visualising the sky bows,
    Remind toward nature's owes,
The best part of childhood is,
    Always fading for motherhood,
These are flying in my ,
    Heart chamber of memories.

    Love;

    is the strangest thing
    I've ever known
    the feeling of
    falling in love
    so overwhelming
    and consuming
    it's like you could
    almost lose your mind.

    A fine fine day

I glanced at the contour of my silhouette in the mirror today,
Having not looked at it in a while
I saw the symmetry between my eyes
the skin that often broke out
was glistening in the cast of the daylight,
Often sunlight makes imperfections of your face go away
but today, it’s not only the minutiae making my gaze turn into a sliver of steady complacence,
but the long wait of a hopeless wanderer in the deep sea
Years spent looking a certain way
make this fortunate gaze seem like a fairy tale-
    A delicate mirror
    broken by a mere stare.
Wondering whether this makes the sea ever so more polluted,
I hastily look away cherishing the way I hope I’d stay
Until another gaze takes my mirror and shatters it away!

    Newbies
    (Day 21)

It's not the easiest thing, warming the seat of my hardwood desk chair, everyday, rolling my tired feet on a partially deflated soccer ball, writing twenty odd sentences sounding so bored that when I yawn at them, they fall asleep right before me, while I am left covering them under a fresh, white sheet.

Soon after that, turning back a few pages of more of such hibernating sentences, I continue looking out for that one line, slowly rustling from its slumber, still rubbing its eyes, lying straight under the bright light of the table lamp, squinting at me with a complicated smile, like it is waking up on a hospital bed, under the surgical lighthead, after months of induced coma.

At this point, I have to handle it very gently, as if cradling a newborn out of its bassinet; unwrapping the swaddled bundle of words, and encouraging the sleepy preemie to wiggle its limbs in the air, shaking off the last winks of sleep.

Once the little one seems to be surfacing, I nimbly begin sponging off the goop around its eyes, carefully cleaning the precious one from all the doo-doo it lies in, while grinning wickedly at me.

Relieved and refreshed, it springs on its wobbly feet, bouncing around on the page, nudging me towards the real mean job of feeding it, adding tender meat to its fragile bones.

Everyone loves a juicy baby, but nobody wants to be around its mess of wails, distractions, and gobbledygook. Not to mention, burping off all its excess upchuck, adding a dab of baby cologne, before wrapping it back in fine muslin, and finally hurling the newbie out in the cold air, hoping it would land safely in through someone's eyes, sliding straight into the custody of their heart.
