We are not here to know it all but to find it along.

"The moon. The stars. And, YOU !"
On days, he would just sit with a pen and some white papers on the desk. Under the desk lamp and all the other lights switched off, he would sit and look outside the room through the glass window. He says, it calms him. He loves stars, the moon, the dark night sky, the slow zephyr and some soft music in the background. He would then write something on the paper and keep it somewhere hidden, hidden away from me. He never told me what he writes or why he hides them from me. But last night, I was way too determined to know the truth. I made him sit with me. Closed the windows and turned on the lights. "So today you're going to spill the beans, okay? What it is all about?" He sighed. "I'm trying." he said in a low voice. "What?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "Trying to learn, how to live without you. Next week you'll be in a different city. We'll be away from each other. I might need to calm myself somedays!" "What do you look at, outside ?" I asked. "The moon. Those stars. The night sky! Just like the moon, you enlighten my life. Your eyes are like those stars, always sparkling, giving me a reason to smile. and without you? My life is like an empty, gloomy night sky!" He was looking down and fiddling with his fingers. He does that whenever he's sad. "What do you write and why do you hide them ?" My voice broke at the end. "I write" he paused. "Only for you and only about you. I don't know why I hide them, but all I want to say is that I've already started missing you."
"Although we'll be at two different places but let's look at this in a positive way ? We'll learn to love each other more. We'll learn to prioritize everything accordingly and that feeling when we'll talk at night after a long day will be so overwhelming right ?" "May be you're right. We'll get through this. Together. "
I just nodded and hugged him tight.
