पेट भरे बस , इतना ही खाते ।
बाक़ी आने वाली पुस्तों के लिए , बचा देते ।
बेजुबानों कि, ज़ुबान बनते ।
साथी मान संग उनके , जंगल बांटते ।
पर्यावरण स्वच्छ से , घर स्वच्छ मानते ।
इस शिक्षा को वो , अपनी विरासत मानते ।
प्रकृति का संरक्षण , अपना धर्म मानते ।
कोख से उसकी जन्में , उसका कर्ज़ चुकाते ।
पर्यावरण से जीव जंतु का , रिश्ता समझते ।
मुकाम इससे बड़ा क्या , हासिल कर पाते ?
व्यापारी तो , इसका भी भाव लगा देते ।
कितना धरती के गर्भ से , छीन सके सोचते ।
स्वार्थी बन , किसी की फ़िक्र नहीं करते ।
जानवरों का शिकार करते , उनके घर उजाड़ते ।
इन्हें , मानव विकास में बाधा मानते ।
घर स्वच्छ कर , पर्यावरण दूषित करते ।
ये बुद्धिमानी उन्हें , विनाश के करीब करते ।
प्लास्टिक थैली का अविष्कार करते
तकनीकी का वरदान मानने की भूल करते
उद्योग लगा , मुकाम हासिल हुआ सोचते ।
पर इससे हवा में , ज़हर घोल रहे बेचारे ।
मूल निवासी , प्रकृति का असली मोल जानते
व्यापारी तो , इसका भी भाव लगा देते ।

Took a paint brush ️ and colours new
Made Earth as his canvas
and drew a beautiful picture
With lots of flora and fauna
Unique creatures and invested life in all
The art was bestowed with breath

धरा हूँ मैं ।।
धर सी अविचल ,अधर सी कोमल।
परमाणु सौ गिरे मेरे सीने पर,
न हुई मैं विचलित तनिक भी।।
अश्रु पर जब गिरे सीता के,
फट गयी विलम्ब न किया क्षणिक भी।।
हूँ ममता की सागर,प्रकृति का उदगम भी।
हूँ मनुष्य का जीवन, जीव का अन्त भी।
हूँ सहनशक्ति की मूरत,कनक का भण्डार भी।
हूँ जल की मै तारक,खनिजो की धारक भी।
है ढ़ूँढ़ता कहाँ तू हर जगह उसे रे,
मैं तो यही हूँ तेरे पग के तले में ।।
है बढने की चाह मे, तू नभ को निहारता।
निहार अपने पग को ,की ये धरती ना रहेगी।।

I, Human
We can't know when will the world fade.
The trees, the birds, the clouds that God has made.
We are not capable of seeing things ahead,
Big storm? Giant rocks hitting us? No one knows, my friend.
Ever mesmerized at how our world masochist can be?
She carries filthy humans, destroying her being.
The mountains, the valleys, the canyons, the sea—
All now part of the modernizations we are bringing.
This is our home, our home that no planet can replace.
We live under the same sky regardless the color and the race.
We are obliged to protect and love this gigantic home at all cost,
Don't let chances slip away before everything are lost.
Our Mother Earth has been dying for the past giga-annum;
Dying for us, humans who has been making Her suffer more.
Do you ever wonder what would it be like dying once?
No? Coz humans are bizarre and evil. We are it.
I would cry a river just to be the voice of my environment.
I would die if ever for a green nature for the new generation to see tomorrow.
I'm just a human who carries out love and compassion to my environment.
A human that wishes its humanity to grow.
Be wary, be careful before it is too late,
There would be no one, but yourself to hate.
The soil you are stepping in is a gem with a real worth,
Be the protector and educator for our beloved Earth.

*No one will be free, dear lady. And at last, as you shall reach your death bed, gasping with the chant of "Atmanirbhar," in the distance you will see parties rallying, while a virus masks their already masked skin. The end will be clear. We shall lose, to you. Or is it now, the other way around?

"Dirty LeaveS"
Dirty leaves
I feel like I'm always down.
I have found home on the ground.
Eerie silent sound of death all around.
Summer grieves...
Silence broken by the breeze.
It's moments like that where I can finally breathe.
Feeling so heavy, I manage to look up.
Parched, I wait for the rain to fill my cup.
Dry dirt and dirty hands, I bury my sorrows.
Longing for sunny tomorrows.
But it will be cold soon.
And the trees will soon dance nude.
Something about that is beautiful to me.
A comforting sight to see.
Trees become light dancing in the night.
On a dirt floor.
That will soon be white.
Oh, what a ravishing sight.
Days to come filled with more grey..
Ghostly, unremarkable.
I can only hope the silver lining shines bright.
I hope the cold days to come don't make me too numb.
And that I continue to see the beauty of the mother that is Earth.
And that my knees don't give out before spring's birth.
I hope I hear the sweet of songs of new life .
And that the chilling sound of death fades into the past.
And that the dirty leaves leave...and are replaced with vibrant, green blades of grass.
I'm down on my knees.
I just don't know how much longer these knees can last.

उसे हंसता हुआ नहीं देखा
निर्जीवों के ढेर के बीच
हरियाली का वह देखे सपना
कहीं कटे पेड़ कहीं फैला कूड़ा
हाय किसी ने उसे रोता नहीं देखा
बारिश रूठी नदियां सुखी
उम्मीदों की डोरी टूटी
कभी हरि चुनर से सजने वाली
आज बंजर और बेजान सी
फल फूलों से भरी थी जिसकी
कोख पड़ी सुनसान सी
बीते कई सालों से मैंने
उसे हंसता हुआ नहीं देखा
निर्जीवों के ढेर के बीच
हरियाली का वह देखे सपना
वह चीख चीख कहती रही
मुझ पर थोड़ा तरस करो
हर सांस के तुम ऋणी हो जिसके
कुछ अपना फर्ज़ अदा करो
जिस माँ ने सब में जीव सिंचा
आज उसी पर हावी इंसान है
हम खुद ही है जिम्मेदार इसके
यह कुदरत का उपहार है
बीते कई सालों से मैंने

Fading shelter...
Mother earth has always shown her compassion and affection towards mankind timelessly. But in turn, it's us who bruise her with our greed and gluttony. As we mature and grow we begin to do wrong things. So there is an innate need to inculcate the idea of sustainability within the young generation. They do have a powerful role in maintaining the ecological balance, which is the need of the hour. We can join the environmental community groups which work against environmental degradation and hence protecting our fresh green forest. We should practice and foster the principle of three R's in environmental protection - Reduce, Reuse and recycle which aids in keeping our environment cleaner. We all are now living in a virtual era where everything could be communicated through media. So, the youth have a vital role to spread the urge of the environment and wildlife protection through social media which inspires and rectify a lot. We all should join our hands together and celebrate World Environment Day, commemorated on June fifth and at least plant a sapling which in future lent us air to breathe and shelter to rest. There are many conventions and rules made by the government to ensure the sustainability of nature, but the fact is it lacks proper implementation. As the youth turn the next generation, they should focus more on the rules and should co-operate with the government for the sake of natural resources. Finally, enjoy the beauty of nature, and sure you will not have the courage anymore to exterminate its serene.
